Ray Munn Paints & Interiors

A few years ago our house had a major refurb including new laths and lime render over the whole of the outside. Part of the work was to finish with a coat of lime wash. Because of the weather and time of year only half got done. In a few months the new lime wash looked awful. I spoke to Ben about it and he recommended a survey by the technical rep for Keim paints. The man turned up and made his recommendations and I ordered the paint and primers and fillers through Ben. I'm getting too old to spend much time up a ladder so I employed a local company of painters (R & R. Very good) and they did it for me. They said the keim was much nicer to use and went on quick and easy with not many drips.That was three years ago and the house looks as if it was painted yesterday. The limewash would be due for another coat by now.I have had a lot of good advice from Ben that has saved us a lot of time and money. I'll be going back soon for another tin of Osmo.

We have just 'found' Ray Munn Paints & Interiors after being given their name by our decorator. The two ladies in the shop were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, very friendly and approachable. We would highly recommend them and we will definitely be using them again, even though we live over 40 miles from the shop and pass numerous paint shops to get there!

If you need advice from a highly experienced expert, then look no further in my opinion. Great range pf products, some truly inspirational finishes and amazing to find such quality in a small market town. Top notch in every sense.

Unless you want to be insulted and left feeling short changed, I would avoid this shop. I had a problem with the paint colour fading and was told not to be silly and that there must be a problem with my walls rather than the paint, despite me providing photographic evidence. As a tip to anyone contemplating buying expensive paint, I wouldn't bother as I was told that the paint would never be the same colour when you go to touch up in the future (never had this problem with any other paints). I cannot believe the utter rubbish and how patronising this man was as he boasted of his 20 years service to decorating. I'd stick to ladders and a brush as 20 years has clearly not qualified you to deal with the public or attempt to resolve issues in a professional manner.

I have used Ray Munn. Harleston twice in the last year and each time Jessica and her team could not have been more helpful.The first time was to match a particular paint color, the second time to choose wallpaper and to recommend a professional paper hanger.I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Just finished our extension and redecorated house interior throughout. We got all our paints from Ben at Ray Munn Paints and Interiors in Harleston. They matched all the colours we wanted and the paint goes so much further than most cheaper paint. Top marks guys.
