This is a very big awesome pub! The staff were really good, attentive, respectful and always had a smile on their faces. Starters are very “deep fried” which is a bit of a shame. The mains were excellent however and everything was well presented and seriously yummy!Four stars only because the starters had no alternatives to deep fried.

10/10 this was an amazing experience. The food, the service and atmosphere were all 10/10. I literally can’t fault the place.I can’t wait to go back and try some more of the menu. If you are reading this scroll no further, just go here. It will never disappoint.

Out with a group of friends and had a very good meal at what I remembered as a not-great local. All the food was very good. Service was also excellent.

An awesome gastro pub! We were picked up from Heathrow by family and headed here for lunch - and wow, sensational food and service from Emilia.I had the chicken and ham pie with carrots and fries - fantastic! My husband had the fish and chips which he loved. And others enjoyed the luxury fish pie and a Reuben sandwich. All of the food looked and tasted fantastic!

Visited on a weekday for lunch so managed to get a table overlooking the greens. The quality of food was excellent and great atmosphere. I imagine this place would be heaving on a weekend. Good selection of wines too.

Went here for a Sunday lunch with family. Had the table booked for 2pm, so not particularly later in the day but unfortunately they were already sold out of 3 types of roast! They were very accommodating though and we had roast beef - it was brilliant. The meat was perfectly cooked, huge Yorkshire puddings and great veggie sides. This is the third time I’ve been here and it has never disappointed.The decor and ambience is great. They even had live music, which was a pleasant surprise.Would highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting. We all had a prawn cocktail to start and sirloin roast beef for main. At over 10 pounds we thought the prawn cocktail was lacking - not enough decent sized prawns, no bread and generally a small portion. The roast was better - good quality meat, potatoes, yorkshire and gravy. The roast wasn't served piping hot however and was just warm. The Horseradish side was for me too creamy, not spicy or course enough. I would have liked some mustards too. Green vegetables were a little wet and over done. The service was excellent, very attentive, but be warned a generous tip is included without them telling you.

Atmosphere good, venue clean and inviting. Great selection of drinks the bar.My friend ordered the sea bream from the specials board which looked, and by his own admission was great. I however, ordered the nduja chicken and it was disappointing. The nduja was seemingly absent and placed on my plate was a sausage-like reformed chicken on “sourdough” saturated in a tomato soup like sauce, with a melted cheese covering. Not very impressive, especially considering it’s premium.Service was ok, took a while to get the bill.

A great pub. More class than most.Lovely decor and a good choice of food.Vegetarian options could be more but they are usually happy to adapt a dish if you ask.A bit pricey and some of the younger staff need more training but overall, I would definitely recommend this pub to my friends.
