Rooms a little tired and dirty. Have been recently “renovated” which only seems to have included being repainted. Had an issue with plumbing and was moved to alternate room by lovely staff, but hotel needs a deep renovation

Most of time rooms are great. i go there frequently but one time had a water leak so they had a bucket to catch water so dripped all night. Internet can be troublesome but its like a wind up car and evebtually goes. Its all still worth the price and the staff are lovely.

A one night stopover on the way to Stonehenge. No chance of an early check in unless paid extra for unlike other locations. It is a motorway stop so although it doesn't have its own food area, the actual service area across the car park is a good selection of foods. Just take care crossing as you cross over on the main entrance off the motorway. We were disturbed shortly after check in by the fire alarm and everyone had to evacuate. Strange we were allowed back in before the fire service arrived.

Shared a family room with 4 of us. Was good. Comfortable beds, enough room, good bathroom. Parking was full, but parked in overflow carpark. Easy to find.

Smells a bit funky and at times you need to tap on the glass to draw the attention of your rustic assistant. The drone is 24/7 but it's not terrible. There's a footpath out to some woods and a Greg's at the services.

Very warm welcome, we arrived late as we're travelling down from the North to the South of England, this was a great location for halve way stop.Very warm evening, rooms red hot, the bed linen had lots of curly hairs on in inside the duvet, linen smelt clean , we ended up sleeping on the top of the covers, just lucky it was really warm. Should of complained, but too tired, left early, no one on reception to say.The travel lodge was being refurbished, which we understood, but the bed linen extra wasn't pretty.

Stayed for 2 nights with my dog in an accessible room - I’m a wheelchair user and amputee. After an initial mix up, the room was adequate, though the bath/shower was not really accessible for all.Positives:• once I moved the desk chair, there was plenty of room to get around with my wheelchair.• The toilet had good hand rails to allow for easy transfers.• The bathroom door is sliding which was great.• We were able to have an extra key for my room.• The room was clearly recently updated, had USB chargers behind the bed which was useful for phones.• Grassy area at the front of the hotel which was good for dogs.Negatives:• very hard to find the entrance road at night as there’s no signage and it’s pitch black with no lighting.• metal keys instead of key cards.• The door to the accessible room I had was behind the corridor door which made getting in and out quite challenging, often having to wait for other people to move from the corridor before I could exit as the outer door blocked my doorway.• A lot of noise from the banging of the corridor door, but otherwise not too noisy in the front building block.• While the rest of the room and bathroom was clean, the bath tub clearly had not been cleaned and there was marks around the inside, plus dust and dirt around the top edge.• The bathroom is not truly accessible. It’s not a wet room; the bath has a platform at the far end which can be sat on and then I could lower myself into the bath (not something everyone would be capable of).• The rail along the wall side of the bath made sitting in the bath quite uncomfortable, and I also had to prepare beforehand by ensuring the shower head was in reach as it’s at the other end of the bath, and originally was clipped high up on the wall.Unfortunately the bath/shower is the main reason I reduced the rating as it’s not truly accessible, especially for a solo disabled person or an older person. Otherwise, there were a lot of small things that cause the rating to be lower as well.Generally, I’d say it is an Okay hotel and fine for a short stay, but not somewhere I would necessarily look forward to staying at again, but I also wouldn’t be averse.
