Some items are quite expensive but a great larder with tasty treats. Kids love the old fashioned sweet jars. Friendly staff who take time to chat to kids.

Stonking little deli for the finer things Iife, plus great refillable shampoos, detergents and even a milk machine so you can bring your own bottle for local milk. Nice range of sandwiches, snacks cos and alcohol. If you are going walk from Wiveliscombe get your lunch here, not the two other local shops, similar price but far better quality

As there are no Christmas office parties this year we decided to give all our staff a hamper instead. Wanted to give the business to a local shop and these guys were fantastic. Ordered 10 hampers which were wonderful, beautifully presented and packed full of delicious products. Everyone was delighted, thank you so much Wivey Larder.

Needless to say, there was a self-appointed public policewoman on the till who, in these repressive times felt my poor health was her business; instead of just accepting that a person without a mask is bound to be exempt.

Be careful this is a good shop but the young blonde man on the till either cannot add up or worse. I recently got charged £160 by his terrible till man-ship I challenged this and he randomly reduced it to £120.I took the groceries home added them up and it came to £65. I went back to the shop he refunded me the money without explanation, go figure? My concern is that old people use this shop how many check their bill.
