David Gilbert built a doorframe and fitted a reclaimed door to my house. I was very pleased with the service from the quote stage through to the fitting. Very polite and knolwgeble. - I didn't feel the need to seek out second and third quotes, which I know you are supposed to do but I was happy with the price and had confidence in David himself so I didn't feel the need to do this. I wasn't disappointed. Excellent workmanship; I'm really pleased with the result and love my new front door. I can absolutely recommend him.

Grade II Listed Cottage ConservatoryOur aim for this project was to reflect the style of existing gothic windows (Cottage east elevation) in the replacement conservatory. Planning permission and listed building consent were obtained; local builders demolished the existing structure and constructed stonework and slate sills. David Gilbert’s joinery superbly mirrored the the gothic windows as can be seen in the other four photographs. David and his associates worked to extremely high standards and solved problems efficiently and without fuss. The finished conservatory is a splendid space, makes a huge improvement to light and heat in the adjoining dining room and was well worth waiting for!Thank you David and Belinda

David Gilbert gave us excellent service when making our replacement wooden windows. Our home is Grade II listed so attention to detail was essential. David is a very pleasant and made the whole experience painless – from measuring up through to final installation.

Excellent quality joinery matched by the craftsmanship in the installation. We have had new window sashes and external doors which have transformed the look and feel of the house as well as improved insulation and security. Very nice people to deal with.
