I had a wonderful meal here on Friday night. The team running the restaurant were fab and the food was gorgeous. There were 4 of us eating and we shared lots of the plates so we could all get to taste the various dishes. The cocktails were superb as well. I would highly recommend eating here.

Had a one night stay with my Mum, mid-week at the Artist Residence and it was such a lovely experience. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful - incl. giving recommendations of restaurants as well as transport links to help us get to a concert just out of the city. Our room was made up into twin beds and was beautifully clean. Lots of lovely amenities and toiletries. Breakfast also able to cater for coeliacs which is great. Will definitely return.

This gorgeous boutique hotel is unbelievably friendly and a buzzing place to hang out. Food and drink top notch, including a perfect breakfast and Bloody Mary that shook the cobwebs away! The staff were exceptional. Aesthetics, obviously, a very strong point, and it is a cheeringly beautiful place to sleep. The rooms are really very small, which they're honest about on the website: we had what they called a larger double, and it had everything one could need in a tiny space.

Brilliant service and welcoming late evening. Seamless check in. Very cosy rooms and beautiful decor. Delicious breakfast and perfect location for a romantic gateaway. We will be back!

Quaint and quirky hotel situated in Central Brighton a stone's throw from the lanes. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony.However, the cleaning standards were really poor, especially in the common spaces but also on the balcony which has been neglected and didn't appear to have been cleaned at all.Overall, at this price point would expect way greater cleaning standards.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife. Location was great, the room was on the smaller side (as we expected) but very well designed. We had a view straight out onto the seafront which was fantastic. Service was great and very friendly. Only issue was with the breakfast where the food left us a bit underwhelmed given the rest of the experience (based on other reviews I think this may have been a one off) but was handled very well by the hotel who removed the items from our bill. Would definitely recommend the Artist Residence and stay here again.

Came here to meet my brother and his wife who were staying here. We were served and entertained all evening by Maddie behind the bar. She was absolutely first class, it was great to be looked after someone so hospitable, friendly and also knowledgeable about cocktails. Definitely plan to return

Went here for a drink. Fantastic staff, we went on 2 different nights & both times staff were great. Also very great knowledge of cocktails. We had various cocktails & they were all lovely & consistent. Lovely glassware also. Would definitely recommend. Lovely building also. Dog friendly too.

I had this Japanese whiskey which was awesome. It was their recommendation. The music was OK. Too mellow for me. Theights were too bright too. The place is very nice but they could dim the lights a bit and play some jazz or something less mellow. I'd certainly go back there again. Great Staff! Tip-top!
