Pumpkin Picking Patch Sompting, West Sussex

First time here and loved it. Tractor ride was a highlight and the whole thing is nicely done.

Been to the pumpkin patch for a 2nd time this year. Everyone is really friendly, good selection of food stalls and activities out for the kids.You have free roam of the whole field to go and pick your prized pumpkin of all different sizes and colours. Highly recommend!

We come back every year and every year it gets better! Bought all the family this time and the kids absolutely loved it.

Awesome pumpkin patch! Free parking and entry - we just paid for the pumpkins we chose. The staff were all incredible and we had such a fun morning choosing our Halloween pumpkins (and our dinner!).

You'll find them cheaper in the supermarket, but you won't get the same enjoyment from seeing the kids roam the field for their own style of 'perfect' pumpkin. Kids loved it, my pocket didn't. Not sure I'd do it again, but again the kids would!

Muddy and busy, but lots of fun! Great variety of pumpkins. Prices not too bad. Snacks and drinks available. But best of all, lots of cute photo opportunities!

We went on the last weekend but still plenty of pumpkins around. Really friendly staff. Free tractor ride for a donation with the resident farmer giving a talk all about the farm and crops. Free range to explore the pumpkin patch with a range of pumpkins and squashes all planted. Very fair prices based upon size with toilets and catering on site. Plenty of free parking and kid friendly. Would happily return next year!

Great fun today. Some of the large pumpkins are enormous! Much better to pick your own fresh from the field than buy one from ASDA. Great fun for all the family.

Not a patch on the experience last year. Last year there was a huge selection of size, shape and variety. This year you drove through the muddy field that was used last year (some cars were struggling in the mud bath), only to drive down another muddy path and another muddy field. There was then a small field that looked like it had been scattered with one type of pumpkin the night before. Mostly ‘large’ pumpkins were available with large being £6. They are really no different to the £2 ones available at the supermarkets. Maybe stocks have run out, going by the vast amount of people on Sunday I would think so! Let’s go carve these pricey pumpkins and then wash the car!!
