Great place to stay. Staff were really friendly and our room was very cosy and modern. No outside noise either. Close to Bold Street for great food, not too far a walk either from there into Liverpool 1. Lovely place right by the hotel called Manuka. Had brunch here, can't recommend it enough. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again. Ticked all the boxes and more.

Fantastic location and really lovely room! Had everything I needed, super clean and a great shower! The mirror in bathroom has a button for extra light for doing makeup which was a nice touch! Will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location. The rooms are quirky and decorated lovely, everything was incredibly clean. The staff are also super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble! The only negative was that the rooms don’t have an air conditioning system; there was a plug-in air conditioner in the room but it wasn’t very powerful and the windows barely open so the room was quite warm!

The hotel was perfectly located and staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms correctly heated.USB sockets by the bed are a useful feature. The decor was a cool design. The room was spotlessly clean. It was a nice feature to have a fridge in the room. Tea and coffee station was well stocked.Unfortunately, the rooms were very noisy. We both slept with ear plugs (which we went and got when we arrived at the hotel and realised how noisy it was) which mainly solved this, but they are not very comfortable. The hotel can't change it's location - it is on a major road - but for front facing rooms, the sound proofing seems less good than it should be.The electric blinds are a cool feature, but left gaps either side for light to get into. We therefore both used eye masks. Again, less comfortable for sleeping than a room which is naturally dark.If you travel with eye masks and ear plugs, then this won't be a problem - but if you don't, you might not get a good night sleep. In addition, whilst the shower was hot and powerful, the shower tray had been badly installed so the water doesn't drain towards the drain. This makes it impossible to have anything but a very short shower, before it over flows and risks flooding the bathroom. There were lots of things the hotel got right, and the reception and cleaning staff clearly do great jobs, but we probably wouldn't stay again based on our good night sleep" test.TLDR: Comfy bed

Stayed for two nights this weekend. The room is small as you would expect but was clean and had everything I needed. The staff are friendly and it is manned 24 hours. The only slight criticism I have is that it would have been nice to have at least something for breakfast, even if it’s just a packaged croissant. Good tea and coffee facilities though.

My partner and I stayed there this weekend. It's in a reasonably good location and the staff were lovely. We got upgraded but the room given to us was still a little smaller (although some people may call it quirky) than we would have liked and the noise from the street, despite the double glazing, was off putting. Probably because we only paid £216 for the two nights. Although staff were lovely I don't thing we would stay there again.

I've stayed here a fair few times as I stay away in Liverpool on business often. I really like it here. Rooms are funky and they every room I stay in is consistent. Great shower, fridge, cool design features, comfy beds. The team on reception are always super helpful and friendly. It's also quiet, considering it's proximity to the nightlife. Good value too, I've stayed in a lot of hotels in Liverpool and always come back to this one

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday with a Liverpool match. The hotel’s location is superb - around the corner from downtown with any shops and restaurants you can think of. Walking back to the hotel after a late-night kebab or jazz next door made us feel like locals. The room was spacious and clean with electronic window shades, which made it all even more convenient. The staff is amazing. Everybody is super nice, helpful, and ready to assist in making your trip even better - we experienced this first-hand. After we got scammed for tickets at a Liverpool match and we’re ready to leave to go back to New York, Matt went above and beyond with his personal local connections to organize two tickets for my wife and I for an otherwise sold out match - he absolutely made our trip! Thanks, again Matt.In summary - highly recommend you to stay here!
