Starter motor problem. Came out quickly with battery booster; 1st one failed, 2nd didn't solve problem. Battery OK. Towed to garage. Told it was a blown fuse - but took an hour to find it (a Citroen specialist garage?)! Then charged £120. Engineer said it must have been damp. Told by admin 'takes time to find the fuse boxes' (ha ha ha) and 'engineers report said starter checked' (no written report – verbal only). Refused point blank to even consider cash back or any alternative. Let down badly by this friend referred garage. Never again!Interesting garage response!1. Checking the starter motor before checking the fuse? Hmmm2. Signal to starter motor is low power and unaffected by blown fuse. Power is protected by 25A fuse. They checked power was OK before signal? Sorry guys - wrong way round!3. Checking other fuses - why? Issue was solved? Hmmm4. They said that they had to find the fuse boxes? Citroen specialist on Citroen car!5. Told them that I had walked up as fuse blown again - problem solved? No6. Told them that I hate to complain, but before I did, I looked at logical pathway to deal with starter issue from online sources.7. I asked them for a refund, gave them option to choose how much. They refused to consider and didn't try to retain my business in any other way. I offered £50 start negotiation.8. I didn't raise my voice and rudeness is a by product of discussion, when they refused to accept I had due cause.9. This is a garage that failed a customer and charged me for the privilege!

After having a bad experience at another garage i had been going to i thought i would take my motor somewhere else, i stumbled up on M&M by looking on google at garages nearby so thought i would give them a go. I can honestly say i would never take mine or my partners motor anywhere else now, the service iv received has been outstanding. Finally a garage which is stress free!

Staff wonderful. Problem starting my car, the 2 men came to my house within 30 mins of my call with battery charger. Would highly recommend using them for repairs etc. Very decent prices

M&M succeeded where others failed, correctly identified cause of brake master cylinder issue Suzuki GV and replaced it back to functionality in no time. Good guys and reliable.

Literally the best garage with the best staff. They are extremely accommodating, and will always do their best to fit you in. Lovely friendly people, and very reasonable prices. Cant recommend them enough

Excellent service from the team at M&M, me and my wife have used them for the last few services. Today I had a headlight bulb that went which I tried to replace my self (and failed) called M&M who fitted me in straight away to fit the bulbs which they did in 10 minutes and wouldn’t take a payment from me for the job. Greatly appreciated and another reason to use these guys in the future.

These guys are just great. Now as a regular for all our cars, if we have a little niggle that needs checking out they always find a few minutes for us. Great customer service goes a long way and great value in comparison to other places in the area makes them a real stand out.

Always available to fit my car in at short notice. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent local garage.
