Royal Victoria Hospital

This is a really nice clean hospital, I was unfortunate enough to accompany a person to A&E but I was surprised by how clean & organised it was,On the down side was the number of junkies & alcohol filled people entering the A&E. Some by their own means and some brought in by PSNI.I sincerely believe anyone with those primary symptoms should not be brought to A&E but placed in a ‘holding tank’ until there are socially acceptable, our nurses & doctors are not paid to deal with them.Before we left we got lunch in the hospital restaurant, a Turkey & Ham dinner with tea was £3:80, that’s unbeatable

My mum felt quite ill while visiting Belfast, so we took her to the A&E in Royal Victoria Hospital.The staff were helpful and attentive, even though the place was very busy. The waiting room is clean and well-maintained.Her details were taken, and all the necessary tests were done.Nurses explained the process to her, and gave us a pretty accurate wait time for the doctor.The doctor did her best to get the right team involved, and made sure the right scans and further tests were scheduled to determine my mum's problem.She was very reassuring and kind.Once the specialist doctors got involved, and further scans were done, they were able to give my mum an explanation as to what may have happened, and prescribed her treatment, with all the necessary paperwork.They answered any questions we had.Overall, we are very happy with how my mum was treated, and extremely thankful for all the hard-working doctors, nurses, and rest of hospital staff.You're in good hands here!

A big thank you the staff of 4C Ortho ,the medical Dr's, the amazing nursing team, physios amazing!! Special mention to Bobbie the social worker who with such kindness helped my mum Elizabeth get through her anxiety, being so far from home, Bobbie is a real asset to the Royal went above and beyond! Thanks to Moria and the dialysis team too! All brillant, as a family we can't praise youenough!

No refection on the nursing staff but the admin cover for phone calls on a saturday is non existanceI rang to enquire what ward a relative was in recording announced your no 1 in the queue 20mins plus later still in the queue this was after another call duration of 18 mins very poor

Long hours in emergency. I need to go to emergency as I can't breath and can't eat properly, waiting 4 hours for some doctor see you, 3 hours more for make the blood test and 5 to receive the results. But I want to highlight the personal, doctors, nurses etc were amazing. I am not blaming the personalm they deserve a 10/10. But I think someone need really action about the longs hours in emergency. Is a nightmare.

I cannot fault my short stay here. I was treated very well. Amazing staff from the domestics right up. They all deserve more credit and money. I am truly grateful for all their kindness and support.

Appointments are very fast. But the car park is serious for getting a parking spot. I had to wait nearly an hour to get a parking spot. But other than that it has excellent service. It has a good shop on the ground floor just past the front doors. But leave in plenty of time for parking.
