The White Horse Inn
The room was clean, but if you had mobility issues the step into the shower was very high. Our bedroom door lock was broken, room 4 so door could not be locked, the breakfast was very good and all the staff were friendly. It was a great location for us and a great view out onto fields from our room. Tea and coffee tray in room. And comfy bed.

We came here for dinner, whilst staying locally. The White Horse was recommended by our hosts and it did not disappoint! The food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. We were seated in the bar area as we had our dog with us, but we were not neglected and felt very well looked after. If we lived closer this would definitely be our local!

Food itself was mostly pretty good, mussels were excellent. Although the staff were decent people and the younger members were really nice, the team lacked a general cohesive hospitality and awareness. Awful bloody flavour of Jazz, which felt forced and out of step, and then silence for ages, try some Chet Baker or something a bit mellower over dinner perhaps... place was empty on a Friday night...Shame as its a great spot.

One word... BEAUTIFUL!Absolutely loved our stay here.The owner was absolutely lovely. Very polite and friendly and nicely spoken. What a really really nice man. Very warm and welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious and portions were very generous. Nothing was too much trouble and smiles were part of the norm! Gorgeous rooms and gardens. Just loved it here. Definitely, without a doubt, be coming back.Would definitely give MORE than 5 stars if there was an option !Very highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Thank you" to the owners for a beautiful stay."

The White Horse Inn
Can't fault anything about a thoroughly enjoyable night and dinner at the White Horse Inn. When we arrived the manager/owner(?) was welcoming and our room was clean, spacious and had a nice view over the garden. The main pub is cosy (loved the fairy light festooned beams) and dinner (and breakfast) was delicious, with just the right level of attention from the young guy looking after us. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good afternoon - my Mum, brother and I stayed at the White Horse, on Saturday 9 December 9 2023, whilst visiting family in the area. It was a shame we only stayed the one night as we would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant. The rooms are really quite charming with good quality linens and everything one could want from a good selection of drinks to a lovely patio area. The bar and restaurant are really cosy and our breakfast was delicious. The produce is of a really high quality and we loved the fact the details of the produce are displayed in the bar area. We had Sunday lunch at the White Horse today and the food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best cooked roast pork I've ever had and everything was hot and seasoned beautifully. Thank you to all the team and we will definitely be back soon.

Just popped in for Sunday lunch so rooms n/a. Had 2 platters for the four of us. Great meal - very impressed. Good beer and other drinks. Good service. Thought the desserts were a little overpriced but were very good. Thought the acknowledgements to the suppliers was a nice touch. Worth a visit!

As a large group of adults and young children it can be difficult to balance the needs of both, however, the White Horse was excellent. The outdoor spaces were fantastic for the children to run around and the service and attention to detail was exceptional. For our meals, the timings were prompt and the food outstanding. Every member of staff we met went out of their way to ensure our experience was 5*, which it was. Planning a return for further family events and will be recommending widely.Huge thanks.
