We were selling our Mums house at a distance and Hendersons made it so easy. From meeting Nick when he visited the house we were impressed with his attitude and personality, which made us feel comfortable with the whole process. All communication by phone and email was prompt and friendly. The sale was quick and efficiently dealt with. Martin and the other staff were great, making sure we knew when things were happening. I would highly recommend Hendersons to everyone as they aren’t like other estate agents in the very best way.

It is not an easy time, logistically, for estate agents. Hendersons have gone out of their way to communicate and accommodate short notice viewing requests, as we search for a house in Whitby. Every member of the team seems to share these core values and whilst you cannot guarantee that your dream home will be offered for sale by Hendersons, I can assure you that if it is, you will be well looked after!

Their experience in the business really showed in accurate valuing, supervising viewings and coordinating outside agencies such as the EPC agency and the purchaser’s surveyors.Advertising was done accurately, efficiently and promptly. If you even think for one minuet an estate agent's job is to just get viewers and negotiate prices think again. I hadn't moved for 15 years so I had forgotten how much is involved. Hendersons are worth their weight in gold I had, a let's say, a challenging chain which took over 6 months to complete, every step of the way Hendersons battled against each obstacle as it arose and there were tears, stress and problems galore. I have to give a special shout out to Graham Henderson which I have to say without his help and keeping abreast of everything for all those months my move would not have happened. Thank you Graham.Not forgetting the ladies in the office on the front line who were helpful and friendly throughout the whole process.

We cant recommend Nick and the team at Hendersons highly enough. We first got in touch around March 2021 during the pandemic in regards to a property in Whitby. We were met by a lovely lady named Claire who showed us around the property, we were allowed to take our time to ensure we had checked everything instead before we put an offer in.The team at Hendersons after the offer had gone in were just amazing. Nothing was ever to difficult for them, even though we we rang constantly for updates. They were fast and responsive in emails, and constantly chased up and helped us in regards to our solicitors and sellers solicitors issues. Our house sale was at the end of a complex chain which required constant monitoring. The Hendersons team kept us informed throughout, even providing assistance to other (non-customer) parties in the chain to ensure the transaction was successful. The process of photographing and advertising the house was most professional. Ultimately the initial sale process was the simpler part. Resolving the chain complexity was the critical issue!

Having completed the purchase of my new home this week I just want to say how grateful I am for Hendersons for pushing to get us completed by the 30th June. I have never known someone to be as quick to respond to all of my emails as Christina has been.
