What's happened to this place. Used to be very good.I won't be back. Chips were tough and chewy!Fish was mostly batter. Absolute shame that this place has gone downhill so badly.

My mother who is a pensioner ordered food from The Galley on Saturday night. The food was inedible. This isn't the first time this has happened. Absolutely disgraceful and the cost of it. Won't be ordering from here again!!!!!!To reply to owner. Yes my mother has contacted yourselves to complain about food before on numerous occasions but because this keeps happening this is why I have put a review on here.

I stopped for a sit down meal. Had been here before but noticed a twang of something the last timeSame twang of the fish and battered sausage this time. Must be the oil. My haddock was mostly batter and the sausage had a sour taste. I ate them anyway. The mountains of chips and toppings served to others was obscene. Lots of stuff wasted and uneaten. About 8 workers milling around till, cooking, preparing orders as it was so busy. It's a very average chippy with no finesse and there are a couple of better sit downs in Lisburn. I may go back later but I certainly will not rush it. Staff are quite friendly. Tables were dirty, chips on floor and no one cleaning as emphasis is on carry outs.

Good food. Lots of fish. This page could be fantastic if they made their own tarter sauce. Give it some flare and flavor. Instead it's just a pack of mayonnaise.

Absolutely disgusted at the fish that was sent out virtually non existent apart from a mountain of batter. I called to make a complaint and the lady offered to replace the fish but it would be at least an hour When qizzed about having a fish delivered at least an hour after our chips (absolutely missing the point) she abruptly tells me she doesn't get paid enough to take this abuse (noabuse was given by me) she obviously is only paid enough to ok/dispatch sub standard food The Galley used to be good maybe spend more on supplies and a little less on a refits and you would have kept at least 2 loyal customers. We would rather go hungry than order again from here.

Excellent food served by excellent staff. Well worth our journey from Belfast. Has become our favourite place to eat in Lisburn. Keep up the good work. Very highly recommended.

Waiting 20 to 25 minutes for fish suppers and others who came in after me served and away. Onion rings brutal full of th8ck soggy batter and the fish for the price of it was awful. Not much fish in the soggy batter.least to say won't be back near it. Worst ever.

Staff are very friendly. The food is what you would expect from a good Chippy.The portion sizes are amazing...The prices are responsible too.The Kebab on Chip is HUGE!!! Well worth it.
