Great service and so far the car is solid.My complaint is that they don't budge on the price not even when I showed them a very similar car at a lower price. Not 1quid off. They also do not even top up your tank with fuel. I left the garage and the fuel light came on within 5mins. Nice cars reasonably priced, but just lacking the finishing touch so I would leave with a smile.

My experience with this company was outstanding!! Super quick and simple. Any questions I had were answered promptly by Alicia either by return email or a quick phone call. From confirmation of the sale to collection of the car and payment confirmed, it all happened in less than 24hrs!! Amazing!

I recently bought a used car from Hilton Garage and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and they made the whole process really easy and stress-free.I was particularly impressed with their aftercare. After the car had been delivered, I noticed a couple of issues. I contacted Hilton Garage and they immediately arranged to have the car fixed, free of charge. They even collected the car from my home and returned it to me when it was fixed.I'm so grateful to Hilton Garage for their excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.Specifically, I was impressed with how:- The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and they answered all of my questions patiently and clearly.- The car was in excellent condition and had been thoroughly inspected before delivery.- The aftercare was outstanding. Hilton Garage went above and beyond to resolve the issues I had with the car after delivery.Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Hilton Garage and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.

VW Tiguan SE NAV DSG 4motion (2016 MK2)Initially saw the car advertised on Auto Trader, ticked 90% of the boxes for what I was looking for. Swapped a few emails with Eleanor Manning at Hilton Garage who was very prompt in responding and answering my questions. Reserved the car online for a small fee which was refundable if I didn't want the car and arranged a visit for a viewing and test drive.Drove down from Sheffield early one morning and met with Stewart Baum. I had concerns over the service history which Stewart cleared up straight away, he took me over to the car and left me to have a look around on my own. Took the car for a test drive, again on my own and decided to complete the purchase. I was paying cash (bank transfer) so no need to sort any finance so it was a pretty easy sale for Stewart.My only minor gripe in the sales process was I felt like Hilton Garage were a bit pushy trying to sell the extras, i.e. extended warranty, GAP insurance etc. I didn't take any of the options but was offered them several times on the day and again by email despite me declining.Positives were the car was delivered for free to Sheffield (note: it took just over 2 weeks to deliver from me signing for the car as Hilton Garage were very busy, I'm not sure if this is the norm but it wasn't really an issue.), Hilton Garage serviced the car (including the DSG and Haldex systems), replaced the timing belt and water pump, fitted new tyres (the previous MOT had an advisory about incorrect tyre size on the front wheels), 12 months MOT and during the mechanical inspection Hilton Garage carry out they replaced the rear brake pads and on the original scheduled delivery date (a Friday) they replaced the alternator and fitted a new battery as there was a fault which meant the car couldn't be delivered until the following Monday. I was kept up to date by the service/delivery manager. As a bonus when I received the car I noticed there was a receipt from the previous owner for new front discs and pads just 800 miles previous.Only real negative was the car was supposedly valeted although I'm not sure it was up to dealership standards as advertised, especially the interior.In brief an overall positive experience, I got the car for what I thought was a fair price and a price I was willing to pay, certainly cheaper than some other Tiguan's I'd looked at that were a similar spec. All the items I flagged up were also taken care of (servicing, tyres etc.).Would I use Hilton Garage again? Most certainly.Added a few pictures, some of the car at Hilton Garage when I went to view it and some how the car looks now (a few extra bits of Chrome from the higher spec models).

A very pleasant car buying experience!It's been over a decade since I last bought a car and having previously worked in the motor trade I was somewhat wary but I need not have worried.Stewart and Hilton Garage made the whole process enjoyable!A week in from collecting my Nissan X-Trail all is going well.I would highly recommend Hilton Garage for your next vehicle purchase.

Paid £50 deposit, spoke to a sales rep on the phone and talked through the car.Body was in good condition.I had asked for the car not to be started, so could hear it cold start. I arrived and it was running. I was told it needed a new battery, hence why it was running. Yet I popped the bonnet and there is a brand new battery in there!Another sales rep (the manager) took me to put fuel in the car, prior to the test drive, claimed how they have 30 mechanics on site, and they inspect all the cars. This one was a lovely example.It took me 30 seconds to realise the turbo was blown, and the engine had knocked on the top end and bottom end.Not sure what these mechanics check, but my friend diagnosed the same issues I picked up on over the phone. The engine sounded awful!Came back to the sales rep explained this, and you could see on his face that he knew I was right.Said he'd refund me the £50. Still waiting 3 weeks later and 3 phone calls!I feel sorry for whoever ends up with that car. New engine will be needed.Dragged me on a 400 mile round trip for a lemon of a car, after telling me how amazing this car was.

He talked through everything thoroughly with me and ensured I was happy and confident with the car I was purchasing, offering a test drive and information about the car including previous services and mot history. He was very pleasant and helpful throughout the process and any questions I had he answered.
