High standard holiday home with all facilities. You will never miss your home. Long hours grocery store, pizza restaurant and fish and chips few steps away.Nature view from the window is spectacular. Books and board games available for kids and adults. Many scenic places are very close by and quiet area makes your holiday more special.You will see many relaxing waterfalls in close proximity and purple flowers covered hills on the way to Kirkhill.Urquhart castle is just 2 miles and Lochness view from there is breathtaking.We have travelled Isle of Skye , Eilean Donan Castle, Distillery in Inverness , Urquhart castle, Fort Augustus, Fort William and Glenfennan Viaduct from there.

Immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable - perfect to come 'home' to after our long days out walking.This is the perfect holiday home in a fantastic location. A heartfelt thank you to the owners, who have decorated it beautifully and ensured that it has everything you need to truly feel at home without even trying! There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside with all facilities within easy reach. We have visited this area so many times over the years and this was by far the best place we have stayed in to date.The welcome hamper was such a beautiful touch and we would definitely book here again. There was nothing to find fault with and we would recommend this beautiful property unreservedly! We only wish we could have stayed for longer.

Great location for exploring Loch Ness, as at Drumnadrochit you are just up the road from Castle Urquhart in the central part of the Loch. There is a mini-supermarket and several decent takeaway restaurants around the corner and several pubs and restaurants are in the centre of town which is only a few minutes walk further on. The house is new, comfortable and well furnished with a bike shed and bbq in the rear patio area. The owners are very hospitable and had left us a lovely selection of Easter egg treats. Away from Loch Ness Glen Affric is a great place to walk and cycle and Plodda Falls are spectacular. Inverness and Fort Augustus are not far and there are activities like the Zip trek at Aviemore (about an hours drive away).

Absolutely stunning place to stay, great location close to all amenities and restaurants. As soon as we opened the door to this house we knew it was special, everything you could ask for and more. The welcome basket and other goodies was unexpected and very much appreciated, the walks here are stunning plenty from easy to more vigorous. All the info you need in folder on walks and places to go, a perfect base for us. Many thanks again to Sam and Michelle for the welcome gifts and we will defo be back in the future. Fabulous......

I was delighted to have come across 35 Carn Glas as it was a last minute booking for a Christmas staycation with my family just the week before Christmas. Sam and Michelle were very helpful even before I placed my reservation, taking the time out to speak to me over the phone and introducing me to beautiful sights at their doorstep. On arrival, we were surprised by a generous Christmas hamper and beautiful Christmas decorations! Just when we thought it could not get any better, my 4 year old found some gifts the owners had specially prepared for him under the tree!! Their property was perfect for our family of 5, very new, neat and clean ! I was even able to cook a proper Christmas meal with everything they had in the kitchen! All the personal and seasonal touches and generous gifts definitely made this Christmas with my parents whom we hadn’t seen in over 2 years that much more special ! I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you once again Sam and Michelle :)

Great location just outside the village and wonderful rooms - modern, clean and well stocked. Lovely views from home!
