Lovely owners made us very welcome but for us it was a bit noisy during the day / evening as its next to a busy road although at night the road was quiet. No safe dog walks from site unless your happy walking down roads. The 'padlock' was very small with pitches on three sides and a communal area in the middle so it felt a bit claustrophobic for us and no views. That being said I'm sure it would be a good layout if you had several families camping together. Also on the expensive side compared with other better sites in the area. Sorry but we won't be returning.

Perfect! The location couldn't be better for getting around the area and out to the beautiful hills. But it was the peace and simplicity of the site, coupled with the warmth and generosity of the hosts, that will ensure we return.

Our third year camping at this beautiful campsite. Highly recommended. We always have a lovely time, feel well looked after and enjoy the space. Facilities are great and have been upgraded to have a washing machine and dryer for a pound for 30mins. Thanks again for a great stay!

A beautiful campsite with really friendly hosts. At last we have found a campsite that we will return to again. One small niggle is that they only have one indoor shower (very nice one though) another one or two and it would be probably the best campsite we have stayed in for years.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was really helpful and kind. We liked the outdoor shower and clean facilities. Well behaved dogs are welcome too. There is a pub within easy walking distance and a small village not far away. A great base for seeing the famous hills.
