Best pet store hands down. The owners and staff love dogs so much and you can tell! Such a broad and wide selection of dog food… I’d say Catering more for very healthy raw food for canines… (rather than cheap store bought kibble)… they also do grooming so will reveiw that soon too! Thank you Sally wags… ps very responsive on what’s app less so with the phone!

Where do I begin? Atrocious customer service!! PLEASE STAY AWAY! Conveniently when I pick up my dog they always quote a higher price as they “didn’t know” the hair wait going to take longer to de-shred…blind? The don’t have the courtesy to call and let me know it will be higher prior to the groom.I’ve have been warned by the locals in Northwood this place a rip off and attitude is poor but I didn’t take notice until slowly I became a victim to their venomous attitude and demands to a higher pay rate when I’m about to pick my dog up- what would I didn’t pay? Hold my dog hostage? They have Cruff awards hanging up (most probably fake!).AVOID!

Lovely groom for the first few times we've been. No issues whatsoever. My pup was happy to go every time. But last one was very poor. My dog was barely touched, nails not trimmed, coat still long. I've asked specifically for his ear fluff to be cut shorter as his fur gets matted easily, but again, ears we not touched.I loved this place, but now I have spend more money after just 3 weeks of my dog getting groomed". I'm assuming it matter who is the person working that day. We just were unlucky."

The staff here are wonderful, and they sell Natural instinct, which lots of pets eat now! Great place, all the doggies get thoroughly spoilt and pampered and come out looking a million dollars! Definitely highly recommended, Sally always makes time to say hello, even if she's busy, she will pop her head round, plus they do doggy day care at a very reasonable price! Sallywags is well worth it!

It had been a while since our Lakeland had been stripped. We arrived at Sallywags and the team just made it all so easy. He’s never been so smart or as happy as when he left Sallywags - able to see - with his fresh trim.

Just popped into this shop for advice on my puppies diet and changing his food.I was so impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the young girl.I know I was taking up a lot of her time and asking loads of questions and she smiled and was still really polite and helpful and genuinely seemed to want to help.Great friendly shop and very knowledgeable.. I will be returning ☺️

I’ve been taking my GSD to Sallywags for a number of years. Phoned today to book him only to be told they don’t do large breeds anymore. What a let down. No reason given they are obviously making too much money out of dogs the size of a cat.I’ve been a loyal customer and feel rather let down as I had always recommend them.So much for customer service!

I have been using Sallywags for two years and have referred numerous people to use their dog grooming services. However, i will no longer be using nor recommending these groomers. My small 2 year old Maltese was left with Sally (owner) for a full trim and i specifically told her not to cut his claws too short.Over the next week my dog was uncomfortable and in discomfort whenever we rinsed his paws after a walk. (He growled and made noises which he never has done before)Too my horror, i checked and saw that his claws were cut very short indeed (almost to the quick) and this was the reason for his behaviour and discomfort.I rang and spoke to Sally just to be told by her that she never touched his claws at all and didn't even trim them and that my dog shouldn't be behaving in that way.(In other words, implying i was lying about his claws being cut short and my dog being in discomfort.) Like i am going to come home and cut them short myself on purpose!!The reality is this woman is either way too busy or too careless and either wrongly trimmed the claws or passed him to someone else in her salon for this to be done.Her attitude was disgusting and not once did she apologise or offer any concern for my little dog's well-being.Be careful about leaving your loved family member with a person who can do this then deny it was ever done by her. Really? I've got way better things to do with my time.I never normally leave reviews but i do not not want this to happen to anyone else so am writing this one.

Love them! So sweet and friendly and Molly's always looks beautiful after her grooming. Sally and her staff are wonderful.
