Lovely 8k loop walk. If I had realised there were bird hides dotted around the loop I would have brought my binoculars…

Inch Wildfowl Reserve
A pleasant walk around the reserve from Burt to Inch island and back via the road causeway. Lots of different wildlife to see from otters to different birds. The walk is flat and takes just over an hour, part along an old disused railway. The rest is a man-made path.

Great for a day out with the family to see all the wild life. If your feeling energetic it's roughly just under 5 miles around the reserve. Car parking available

Inch Wildfowl Reserve
Beautiful place to visit for bird watching or walking around the 8km circular walk over to Inch Island and back. The scenery around Lough Swilly and surrounding countryside is very easy on the eye. You need to give at least 2 hours for the walk or add another 25 minutes, if you take a break at the coffee caravan on part of the walk. There's bird hides, 3 good carparks and toilet facilities situated around the walk.

Inch Wildfowl Reserve
Visit here frequently - one of my favourite places to spend free time in the county.Has the tree canopy walks or, cross the water - when weather is less of a challenge.Recently (August 2023) there are bike rentals available on Sundays and some bank holidays at the pump house carpark - lots of bikes to choose from, for a reasonable fee - fun, alternative way to get around.

Beautiful place with an amazing walk, landscape and wildlife. Its so tranquil and will pass a good 2 hours to do the full circle walk.

8km loop. Easy access, enough parking places. Beautiful space dedicated to birds and nature.

Inch Wildfowl Reserve
Lovely tranquil walk, great views and a nice flat path. There is a portaloo at the pump house which is also convenient.
