Lucky Star Chinese Takeaway

Used this place for last 15 years but tonight took the biscuit. Order said it be 45 to a hour.... got to hour and half rang to ask if all OK said sorry be another 30mins .... rang when it got to another hour for them to say sorry will cook it now will take 20mins !!! Canceled order and won't use again waited for 2 and half hour that is ridiculous for fast food when original told max a hour and then to find out after that time not even started cooking it. We thought quality prior was massively reduce but tonight nail in coffin terrible won't be using again so now need to find another Chinese!! But think it be worth it woman was rude on last call and won't be having mine or any of my family's money again!

Love this place, I wont order from another. Never had a bad meal from there.I'd say the best takeaway in Kirkby

If I could give you zero. I would say as regular customer we will never be coming back to your Chinese. All I can say is food poisoning, throwing up all day and you’re trying to blame everything but your food the worse part is all I have been sick is your Chinese.

Visited the lucky star after a recommendation from my girlfriend. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, the service was fast and friendly. Seems like a lovely family run takeaway. Would 100% recommend the roast duck, was delicious!!

This food is unreal, I usually do not order as do not keep cash around the house, would be great if you were able to pay by card. The best Chicken satay on skewers I have ever had. Everything so full of flavour.

Not the quickest service but incredible food worth the wait. Salt and pepper chips and Satay fantastic were mind blowing, great portions and super tasty.
