Shortage of distance markers on the course. Confusing 12 hole sign seemed to be sending golfers in the wrong direction. Good golf facilities.

Two very good golf courses and great golfers bar. Would recommend for weekend of golf with a nice on site hotel and spa.

Refused breakfast in the clubhouse as they stop serving at 11:30am. It was only 11:20 when I asked. Very poor service, I won’t be going back and won’t be taking membership.

Last time I played the Prince Bishop course was about 4 years ago. Always found it a challenging but enjoyable course. Today was another enjoyable experience in spite of the extensive drainage work that has been done. The course is always well presented and although the greens were a little slow they were still true. The atmosphere in the clubhouse is more commercial than most golf clubs I've visited. Probably because it is run as part of the hotel complex. Nevertheless it is very well appointed and always welcoming. Well worth a visit.

Cathedral course very wet even though we haven’t had that much rain. It’s early November dread to think what it’s gonna be like over the winter. Don’t rate the Cathedral course has lots of temp tee boxes, 17th not allowed to use a driver? Sorry but not impressed

Good choice of food. It's a little on the expensive side but affordable for a bit of a treat. Good choice of meals, sandwiches etc. Rustic chips" are fab. Lovely setting and friendly staff."

A gem of the North East. The Ramside hosts 2 great golf courses which are superbly kept. The Prince Bishops, a slightly harder course than the Cathedral course.The staff are first class and it's nice to settle and relax after a round in the clubhouse where the food is delicious.
