Willows Veterinary Group - Winsford Veterinary Surgery

Fortunate to have only needed willows for neutering and microchipping services. Last year my Male cat was looked after and no issues with the treatment and surgery. This week I took my youngest cat for the same procedure not only was there no/correct knowledge of a scheme (which was due to the practice loss of voucher book), there seem to be no clear communication with staff among staff either as I received a call whilst my pet was at the practice and text msg yet no one on reception knew why or why. Also now after two attempts to track down the microchip information which I should of received when I collected my pet the day of his procedure so I can register it to the database! Yes I’d say my pet was looked after and no issues with the surgery thankfully but communication and run of the service has gone down drastically.. I am still waiting for the information (which should of been a booklet and a MUST do at discharge.And the cost for neutering and microchip is scandalous considering it’s fight to be legalised

We have been using Willows Vets in Winsford & Northwich for near on 43 years. Over that time they have cared and treated our many pets! Both Cats & our many Staffy dogs. I can honestly say the service has always been caring, kind & of the highest quality. We always feel our pets are in the right place to be cared for when necessary.Barry/JeanieWinsford

I just had to share how brilliant the willows in Winsford stuff were when I had to have my beautiful nails and put down I was absolutely distraught and still am at the vet who dealt with the euthanasia was wonderful calm sensitive and allowed me to cry myself stupid and let me out out of the back time was taken calm and I was able to spend time with Nelson. Then when I went to pick him up he came in a beautiful box with a lovely card and bag and was handed over to me with great sensitivity and a sincere condolences from the staff member. Can’t recommend the team at Winsford highly enough, we have the best care from the moment we walk in, from the warm welcome of the reception team, the nurses are so attentive and reassuring ,and I have every confidence and trust my boys are in the safest of hands of our wonderful vet Olivia. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them and they patiently take the time you need as pet parents to provide you with all information and answer as many questions you need to ask in order to navigate any type of veterinary visit…

I have just been to this butcher. The vet himself cut my dogs nails and also sliced her toe. Would not use this vet again.

Failed to notice Pasteurella bacteria in my dogs mouth after seeing multiple vets over 3 visits. Moved vets for a second opinion (swabbed and diagnosed within days) after first being told the gum would heal then on the next visit, after he'd been suffering for months, my dog apparently needed both canines out.Also grew tired of 1 particular receptionist trying to give me medical advice.

A good practice, always friendly and welcoming. Very helpful in sometimes difficult circumstances. Been with the practice for nearly 30 years with different pets. Would recommend.

Olivia , the Vet on duty today was really wonderful with our Lara our Deaf Dalmatian . Having to be parted from us in one visit during Lockdown, to have a bite stitched , she’s since been extremely anxious and frightened about going to the Vets .Olivia was very skilled and patience in handling her and very understanding . Lara hasn’t had a jab yet , that she was booked in for but for the first time in a long while she was neither aggressive or fighting to get out .The plan now is to do a few call in’s to get her use to going in and perhaps get the odd treat for calling .Thanks to the whole practice team for a great jobSee you soon .

Willows surgery are a fantastically professional and caring institution who have been wonderful with our dog. We are always happy to bring him in knowing he’ll be looked after and cared about, and we’re particularly pleased recently when they were able to see him at very short notice after he had had an accident and incurred an injury.

I took my dog to see Olivia Antony at Willows. Olivia was wonderful. I have a very nervous dog and Olivia was fantastic with him. She was so calm with a softened approach. I cannot recommend her enough.Olivia was really knowledgeable and was happy to answer all of my questions in a manner that I understood.I think my dog will be a lot calmer on his next app with Olivia
