Lovely receptionist staff, especially Lauren. Nurse Caroline has been fab with me for years and now also my children. Also Dr Akram is a fantastic doctor! Always able to call on the day and get a call back and opportunity for face to face appointment that day. I’ve been here 25 years and like many surgeries, the odd doctor isn’t helpful but in general great.

All of my family use this amazing practice nothing is ever to much trouble always a smiley face and so helpful over the phone! Thankyou guys we really appreciate you

Lack of appointments to see the nurse is absolutely crazy. I have to wait over a month to have a simple 5 minute telephone review with the nurse, and I can't get my pills until after the phone call. Thankfully, I knew this was the case this time, but last time I was out of my medication for a week because the waiting list for an appointment was so long. I've never had to wait so long at any other surgery I've been a patient at. The only saving grace is that the nurse herself is lovely.

I joined this practice just under 3 years ago. at first it was ok, the receptionists were nice and 2 male doctors i saw were nice. However last year I went into a very bad depression due to someone at work. i had already had a week in hospital the year before due to her. last year my doctor refused to see me. i had to refer myself to OH at work and find a councillor as i was so bad. the doctors still refused to see me. i was off work for 3 months in a very bad way. fast forward to October of last year and i found a lesion which changed rapidly. i rang the doctors who rang me back and said they wouldn't see me for 3 weeks but i it was painful they sent me some antibiotics.i work at Stepping Hill Hospital and went to see a matron who took photos of my lesion and told me to send them to my doctors straight away. i did and the next day someone rang me and said they'd put me on a 2 week wait for Salford Hospital. fast forward again, i had skin cancer, i had it cut out but it didn't go so i had to go back and get it done again. even though my doctors have this on their records NOT 1 SINGLE DOCTOR has seen me through my breakdown or CANCER. these people are more interested in talking on the phone, they do their best not to see patients. as doctors they took an oath but they are uninterested and leave patients at their most vulnerable when they need someone the most

I called the surgery on behalf of my 83 year old mother to request a home visit. I was told at approximately 11.15am that a GP would call me back. I then received a call a few hours later from Dr Alonso who asked me what her symptoms were and when I explained these I was told he would be out to see mum between 4.30pm to 5pm. At 5.15 nobody had been so I called the surgery again to be told somebody would be coming out. Then at 5.45pm I received a call from a Dr Alonso again who said he would not be coming as he was too busy at the surgery and would attend the following day at 11am (25/01/2024). At 11.15am nobody had attended and so I called the surgery yet again to explain the position and after being put on hold the receptionist came back to me to say she had spoken to the Practice Manager who had said someone would be out to see mum today. I apologised to the receptionist as I could feel myself getting ratty and asked to speak to the practice manager to then be told she was engaged (although according to the receptionist she had just spoken to her). I honestly cannot remember the last time my mum even went to the surgery for an appointment and has never requested a home visit. This surgery is a disgrace. No wonder the NHS is in the state it is if surgeries are performing like this.

My prescription was authorised by GP on Monday on the Patient Access online portal. I called to my pharmacy on Friday 4 days later but they hadn't received it. As I had no medication left and it was 5pm I called to surgery asap. I was eventually handed a prescription at the door, because of covid19, with no apology or explanation by the receptionist as to why it hadn't been sent to my pharmacy. When I asked for an explanation she didn't respond and shut the door in my face. By the time I got to the pharmacy it was shut so no medication till tomorrow. My pharmacy are never surprised when Dial House mess up regarding prescriptions as the staff they use are untrained. What makes it worse is the terrible customer service on reception as a patient.

Flu jabs given in main waiting room whilst both men and women walking through. Couldn’t even be bothered putting up screens. Won’t be going there again. Appalling.

Very poor. Long wait for a doctors appointment (like 6-8 weeks). Open surgery every morning for emergencies only". Yeah right

Useless doctors. The GPs are robotic and don’t care one bit. Over 4 years of trying to get help for chronic daily back and neck pain and the last thing they recommended for me was to take paracetamol, no one is bothered about diagnosing you or helping they just fob you off. I Had to resort to going private and getting scans, to find out I had multiple issues causing me agony every day, I now have to live with irreversible damage to my disks because they left it so long and didn’t do any investigation work. They are an absolutely disgusting practice who don’t give a monkeys about their patients, the GPs are all the same. I would have made a formal complaint but no point because they don’t care, so I have to warn others from making the same mistake of going here. The only positive is the nurses are lovely, can’t fault them and the 1 star I give is for them. Avoid this dumpster fire of a surgery if you can.
