review:Both my husband and I visited this place on separate occasions, and unfortunately, we had similarly negative experiences. The assistants and physicians seemed lacking in kindness, creating a cold, official, and snobbish atmosphere. During my eye check-up, the physician persistently insisted on the importance of wearing glasses, presenting it in a pushy and derogatory manner. On the other hand, my husband faced ridicule from the staff when he requested his lenses to be fitted into his own designer frame. They doubted its authenticity and seemed displeased because he didn't purchase a frame from their shop. The overall experience was offensive, neglectful of customer needs, and exorbitantly priced. We have no intention of returning.Don’t let the posh place/area cheat you, as the service is cheap and is below a minimal quality.

Yesterday I visited as my ageing eyes are not so great at near vision. Staff are all so friendly and professional! Simon suggested maybe not bring my wife to choose glasses frames as she will select a pair that she likes and not necessarily what I like! I'm going to take my kids instead - they will be (brutally) honest!

Having not had an eye test for a large number of years I was mildly concerned about getting one. Cheryl and the team at Bridle Eyecare looked after me well, they also have a good selection of frames and I was able to get everything sorted in one visit, would highly recommend.

Cheryl has always given my husband and I exceptional care of our eyes and uses the latest technology to make sure our eyes are healthy. When either of us need replacement glasses all of her team give honest opinions of what styles suit us and advise us carefully of what lenses are best for our needs.

I have been to many different opticians over 50 years of wearing glasses, and these guys are the best. Customer Service is second to none. The examination was very comprehensive and the results were fully explained. I would recommend them.

Khai Rahman made my experience with Bridle eye care a very good one indeed. Little over a couple of weeks from making appointment to having my glasses on my face. Wow! Now that is service for you. This company is extremely recommended and now I can see again!!!

I took my 5yr old for an eye test, the optician was BRILLIANT with him! He's had to have quite a few eye tests and I can honestly say I fully trust her and she made it fun for him. He has already said he can't wait to go back. I can't reccomend Bridle Eyecare enough, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Cheryl the optician is brilliant. My husband and I used Bridle Eyecare for years, then because it was a long way to go from Essex to Theal we both used another optician nearer home, we were so dissatisfied, today we traveled from Essex to Theal for a new pair of glasses,The eye test and service was second to none! Thanks Cheryl and Helen.
