I have been using Kirklees' services for almost a year now and have never been disappointed. The prices are unbeatable, communication is great, scans are amazing quality and there is normally a very fast turnaround.Not to mention, Taimoor has always been extremely helpful (like pointing out camera issues he noticed from the scans) and kind to me and my friends who get our film processed there.Overall, a brilliant place to get your film developed, highly recommend!

Having seen Kirklees photographic advertised in recent years; I finally made contact with Tai and AJ and found myself wondering why I left it so long to go and meet them.I can highly recommend sending film for expert development and I cannot stress highly enough, my experience with their scans. Clarity and sharpness is a given.I have seen more detail and a true focus ;) on the negatives that has made me happier with images I've taken and as a result will likely have me revisit some previous work to realise the same in negatives either I or someone else had scanned and had left me thinking there was a need for servicing with some of my cameras or even perhaps my own eyes testing.You can expect not only attention to the details, but really good turnarounds and a level of pride and I think responsibility in all the work people send to them which I think has been lacking in some of the labs I've used over the years.I can really ask for anything and consider it a bespoke service and where possible seek advice on how to extract the best results from my cameras and filmLong may it continue and definitely send in something you're working on and find out for yourself as I think seeing actually is believing.

I discovered Kirklees Photographic a while ago through Instagram and, having the luxury of being fairly local, am now a regular customer and visitor to their lab. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they always go above and beyond to ensure my film is processed and scanned to the highest quality, and their customer service is superb with helpful advice often offered.

So, this was my first time using Kirklees as well as my first time using a mail in film development process. I was nervous for a number of reasons, mainly that it can be hard to judge the quality of the scans for a first time and also because I didn't want my film to get lost in the post.However, the promise of TIFs as standard scans in high res was too much and I took the plunge. I needn't have worried and I'm so glad that I used this service.I posted the negatives on Monday afternoon. The next day around 5pm I received an invoice. I paid and then received the scans about an hour later. So that's just over 24 hours turnaround time, which is exceptional.The scans themselves have great latitude. I was able to save some images which were poorly exposed just because of Kirklees, which is worth the cost of postage alone. I've attached some pictures here which I am pleased with, so you can see the level of quality in the scans. The photography may still leave something to be desired, but that's probably my fault!A couple of comments. I received an invoice and then an amended invoice later, where they charged me an increased price for a half frame film scan. Realistically I don't mind, but I didn't realise the price would increase. Then when this was scanned, each half frame image was scanned separately. I didn't realise this was going to be the case as sometimes I try and take diptychs, where I pair the images up. But now all the images have been separated. I'm sure this can be fixed next time by just letting them know beforehand.Overall, I'm really pleased with the process and the outcome. I highly recommend this company and I'm super pleased that I discovered their service.

Simply the best photo processing and scanning facility in the uk, that they also manage first class service and top value is pretty incredible. Attached some recent scans from film I have sent them it’s flawless every time and Taimoor is one of the most helpful people you will come across

I will continue using them for the foreseeable!

I had the most amazing experience with Kirklees Photographic - We sent over a very old, sentimental piece of film that was found in an old camera and they made sure that the film arrived safely and was handled delicately with a super quick turnaround time and clear communication. Could not recommend this company enough :)

Really friendly and helpful service. Amazing prices compared to high street processing options and a much more personal service. I sent my reels off Thursday evening and received my scans the very next day. Highly recommend
