Gave an alright cut, but is a very young “laddish” environment rather than a professional barbers. They don’t accept card either which I find strange, particularly as it is a chain of shops.

I started going to BarbersNo1 Formby at the start of last year, following a recommendation.I got my hair cut by the store manager, Jay.Even though I was a new customer Jay made me feel welcome, was down to earth and a good laugh. I asked for a skin fade and trim on top, it was genuinely the best haircut I’ve ever had - his attention to detail is second to none.I’ve been visiting the store and Jay ever since, using the online booking system. It is easy to use and easy to request your preferred barber. I honestly can’t recommend the shop enough, especially Jay. He’s a top barber who clearly knows his stuff. I’d definitely recommend

Dreadful cut on my son’s hair today - no contact number to call and complain .His hair looks like a toddler has cut it - the neckline is not straight and the fringe is an absolute mess ! He’s too upset to go and get it sorted out . It looked okish in the barbers but when went home to try and brush it so that it looked finished… it’s a holy mess ! Never again !

Best hair cut Iv had, can’t fault the staff; especially jay. Attentive and friendly everytime always keep the shop clean and tidy. Jay who I always go to in formby has become my only barber since it’s opened. Really recommend

Been going to Jay since the lockdown ended. Always a great haircut, and can have a laugh. Easy to book in, would recommend to anyone.

Honestly the best haircut I've ever had! Really friendly staff. I was quickly seen to by Megan. Her attention to detail was like none other. Couldn't recommend her more, especially if you're after scissor+clipper/medium length cuts. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area.Parking just outside, cash only although cash point next door.

Fantastic barbershop. Made to feel welcome upon arrival by the team. Difficult to find a local barbershop that understands how to cut afro hair but Jay and the team are outstanding at understanding client needs and offering their expert opinion. Thoroughly professional service that I can't fault
