I commissioned Neil to make a grate for a Victorian fireplace and am delighted with the result. Fits perfectly, looks as if it's been there forever,completed the job quickly and at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I'm so pleased that I found this workshop. I needed a tricky repair to a much loved garden ornament, one of a pair of birds. Neil took the trouble to not only do the repair ,but made a new part that was missing & obviously takes great pride in his work. I'm very happy with the result.

I usually get my wood sculptures mounted in Provence, where I create them. After many unsuccessful attempts to find a Blacksmith in London, I found Neil at HOT METAL WORKS. His work is TOP class, he is creative and did a great job of showing off my work perfectly.

My partner John, had a blacksmith experience day with Neil last year, and hasn't stopped talking about it. While there we saw a tied Knot that Neil had forged, we fell in love with it, and as we are getting married in August, we asked Neil to make one for us to have at our wedding, it is beautiful and will take pride of place on the day, from John and Barbara
