David Scanlan (Soke Sensai) is a very patient, encouraging and humble individual three respectful traits you would hope for in an instructor, the main thing he inspires is the idea of you choosing to come to the dojo therefore you learn at your own pace and dont get made to feel like you do not belong. The students adopt a sense of companionship and like to pass on knowledge to keep everyone safe which again is something you would want in a martial art club.If you wish to learn self defence, understand the techniques and boost your self confidence i strongly recommend this club.

Out of my 15 years within the sport, Sensei Dave is one of the best instructors going around within the sport.Highly knowledgeable, friendly and passionate in what he does, his hands down one of the best coaches I’ve trained alongside with.
