Excellent practice, been going for several years and have watched the practice grow. All my pets are well looked after, one dog having had several surgeries and is a bit of a regular, sadly for her, but she is treated with care and my ridiculous worries are listened to and everything explained to me. I’ve even text the vet out of hours and she will respond with advice. Pricing is extremely reasonable and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I’m a regular visitor with my dog as she has a lot of medical needs… the team are very friendly and welcoming. They take the time to discuss everything in depth and give clear options. I’ve never struggled to make an appointment and on occasion have been seen almost right away when something crops up. I can’t recommend this team enough.

We moved away from this vet a while ago as she only seemed to care about how much money she could make. At the time when we had to register our dog, she was the only one with spaces available, which should have been a red light. She gave extremely expensive pills for a skin condition, which simply turned out to be a food allergy in the end. She also gave a far too high dosage, which when we read about it afterwards, could have caused damage to our dogs organs. She also acted as if she found flea dirt on our dog to get us to buy her flea medication, despite the fact that our dog had already been treated. She also wanted to overcharge hugely to remove milk teeth which hadn’t come out of their own accord. Her price was at least double that of another vet in the area as she charged per tooth which the other vet said takes a minimal amount of time. Although her consultation fees are low, medication is ridiculously expensive and we found her to be dismissive of our pets health and not actually doing a proper check when we took her in. She also charges extra for an emergency appointment, which our current vets doesn’t. Our new vet is so much clearer in explaining treatment and how to prevent certain conditions. It was sadly not a good experience and we felt ripped off by someone who didn’t seem as if she cared.

This vets is brilliant. We were looking after my sisters dog and he kept being sick. We got a same day appointment and they treated him and my son who took him with patience and kindness. They also didnt try and charge us a ridiculous amount of money unlike others. The dog is well recovered thanks to you.

I brought my cat here for a tooth extraction and cleaning just a couple weeks ago. The staff here are absolutely lovely and it is very clear that they care for the animals they treat. After the procedure, they were kind enough to charge me for only the cleaning and for medicine, shaving over 200 quid off my total bill. I would very much recommend this practice to others, as it is rare to find a vet who doesn't prioritize profit over the animal's health! Thank you again :)

I have been attending this practice since it opened and I cannot rate it highly enough with all dealings with my dog. My pet has always received wonderful care and I am given very sound and clear advice with a sensible plan going forward. Thank you x

This was my first experience with them and I required a second opinion regarding my cat Coco.Sadly it was not a good prognosis and I had to let her sleep but the way in which they looked after her and took my emotions into account was much appreciated.They were also so sweet in sending me a card to show their sympathy for my loss and that was really touching.If I were to get another pet in the future then I would definitely come back to them.Many thanks.

One of the last independent vets around, prices are listed and not over the top. Great service from all the staff from the initial consultation to the last day of our Frenchies life. A very realistic and honest approach to a nasty situation of an oral tumour, with lots of help and advice. Thank you for looking after Jackson x

I have been using Islanders Vets since 2018 & have found Chrissy to be one of the most knowledgeable Veterinarians. Her staff are also very helpful. I would totally recommend this Practice.

They are very affordable and knowledgeable, whilst still taking time with my dogs Risk, Senka & Piglet. They take time with nervous dogs and focus more on Care they provide rather than fitting as many clients in as possible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
