Puddle Duck Cottages
We had a lovely stay in Duckling Cottage. The cottage was clean, well maintained and well equipped and the dogs loved their cuddly Panda toys. The cottage is located in a lovely quiet spot with a good footpath into the town one way and to the Woodbridge Inn the other. Both routes were great for letting the dogs have a good sniff and walk on route to the local attractions. We would recommend the Woodbridge for an evening out; the food and service were both excellent. Sonia and Bertie the beagle gave a very warm welcome to both our boys and us that made the holiday feel very homely and relaxed. We'll definitely be back next year.

Puddle Duck Cottages
When we arrived at Puddle Duck Cottage we found it spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome pack and also goodies for the dogs. Everything was comfortable, from the sofas to the beds. Plenty of towels. Lots of parking available. Sonia came to see us and helped us with a lot of information regarding dog walks, good food pubs and takeaways. We had no reason to contact her as everything we needed was in the cottage. The best thing about the cottage was the enclosed garden for the dogs. We could safely open the cottage door and let them out without worrying if they could get out onto the road. The fencing was very secure. A great area for them to run and play and lots of good sniffing smells. There is also a warm water shower for the dogs which was great for us as the weather wasn't too good and the woodland walks a bit muddy. All added to the fun. When we left our deposit was back in our bank before we got home. I would definitely recommend the cottages to anyone. Hopefully one day we can go back again. A great find.

A beautiful, spacious property which is in a delightful rural location and is equipped and maintained to a very high standard. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The whole trip from booking right through to the moment we left was absolutely perfect! We really appreciated the very generous welcome pack which included items for our dog as well as for us. We loved the large garden and the outdoor hot and cold-water spray for our dog - and so did he! The cottage had everything that we needed - and more besides! It was immaculate and we had everything that we needed to keep it that way. All of my dealings were with Sonia who was extremely helpful and pleasant and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We really appreciated all the helpful and detailed information about where to eat out and which attractions to visit. Our damages deposit was returned promptly. Without any hesitation we would recommend it to friends and family. In fact, we have already done so. We were only there for the weekend and the weather was glorious, so we did a lot of walking in the beautiful countryside which is right on the doorstep. We also really liked the town of Ironbridge and we loved the Maws Craft Centre. We enjoyed meals at The Half Moon Inn, The Butchers Kitchen and The Woodbridge Inn. We also had a lovely light lunch at the Tile Museum cafe. We have a list of attractions that we will visit next time!

We visited Puddle Duck Cottage with family in May this year, having previously stayed in Duckling Cottage ourselves in 2019. The cottage was extremely clean, well presented and prepared for our arrival. The welcome hampers, both human and doggy, a lovely touch as always.Having told our family about our previous stay, they were eager to see if the cottage and location would be as good as we had stated. Needless to say they were not disappointed and could see that we had in no way exaggerated how perfect everything was.During our visit we made the most of the local walks, enjoying the fantastic scenery and of course stopping off every now and then for food and drinks. Everywhere we visited was very welcoming and dog-friendly - great news for our beagle Lola!We wanted a relaxing break and that is exactly what we experienced. Everything from the initial booking to the prompt return of our damages deposit was handled in a friendly and efficient manner. Sonia is so helpful, and it was lovely to meet her (& Bertie) this time. I would whole-heartedly recommend Puddle Duck Cottages (and have) to anyone. Definitely a 5 star experience

We had an amazing stay at puddle duck cottage at the end of July. We stayed from the Monday to Friday and brought our King Charles puppy. The cottage was outstanding inside and within a perfect location. On arrival we had milk, eggs, bread, cake and wine left for us. Additionally on arrival we had a welcome pack for our puppy, which included a squeaky cow (which is still her favourite toy!). The back garden was enclosed and was safe to leave our puppy out. We also enjoyed use of the larger front garden with the picnic bench. All rooms in the cottage were spotlessly clean and were well stocked with everything you will need for the stay. My son especially enjoyed staying in the cabin bed , with its own staircase. The customer service we had with Sonia was exceptional and we were emailed details of check-in, local walks, pubs and cafés prior to the visit. We visited Blists Hill Victorian town, Iron Bridge gorge and lots of the National Trust properties in the area. There are lots of pubs near the cottage that are dog friendly and our favourite was the Woodbridge (which we spent many an evening). We would highly recommend the cottage to friends and family and we will be definitely be returning to Puddle duck in the near future. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

The cottage was immaculate and beautifully presented with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even doggy guests are catered for with a toy, towel, and biscuits. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom really quiet - perfect for a good night’s sleep! The garden and paddock are also fully Beagle proof which was hugely important to us! Sonia made us feel really welcome from our very first contact to our departure and Ted had a lovely welcome from Bertie the resident Beagle. We enjoyed some fabulous walks; Much Wenlock and Wenlock Edge were our favourites. The local pubs (all within walking distance) are great and dog friendly too. We had such a lovely visit and are already looking forward to returning in September.

Excellent cottage in beautiful area, cottage pristine clean tidy, everything there you require. Welcome package on arrival and not only the humans, reception packet for dogs, toy, biscuits etc plus first aid kit for them if anything happens exceptional. Welcome on arrival from owner and other people makes you feel really comfortable, maps ready for walks and local attractions, Victorian village just over the river walking distance. Have recommended to friends and family as this is really a brilliant cottage, local pub no more than 50 metre away and three lovely pubs, hotels in walking distance supplying good food and service. Cottage you didn't want to leave.

We had a perfect stay in this cosy, comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Everything was lovely from the outset with great communication from Sonya and the welcome goodies. The cottage was warm and exceptionally clean, with fluffy towels, crisp linen, and tasteful decor. There is a lot to do on the doorstep with many pubs, walks and places of interest. We had a delicious breakfast at the Tile Press in Maws Craft centre just 5 minutes down the road. Everything has been thought of in this accommodation and I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere lovely to stay.

Our second visit to Puddle Duck Cottages and just as fantastic as last time. A fabulous, spotlessly clean, well-maintained cottage with lots of extras to make the stay special. Great walks from the cottage with stunning scenery and lots to see and do nearby. We enjoyed our visit to Ironbridge and Blists Hill Victorian Town (which is dog friendly), Coalport China Museum and Jackfield Tile Museum, all within walking distance of the cottage. We also visited the Priory at Much Wenlock. On the doorstep is the Tile Press Cafe at Maws Craft Centre who prepared a delicious takeaway Afternoon Tea for us. Louie and Brodie (our dogs) loved their welcome pack and loved the secure field next to the cottage. Sonia's customer service was exceptional, and our damage deposit was returned promptly. Thank you for an an amazing holiday, we will definitely be recommending you to our family and friends.
