Absolutely fab evening for group of 19 6th Dec.Food was delicious, great value too.Pouring with rain outside but we were given a fantastic welcome from our waiter, Michael. Nothing was too much trouble. He was professional and courteous, patient and funny. He certainly made our evening! Well done Michael.

Very enjoyable. Food was good quality and cooked/presented well. I know it was busy but the waitress seemed to be doing a lot of tables and I had to wait a while to ask for the bill, my plate wasn't cleared nor was I asked it I wanted a dessert.

Great food with prompt service. Managed to go back asecond day didn't book but they fitted us in as my side is disabled. Easy access to disabled toilet too which is always a worry when going to somewhere you don't know. We'll done to all the staff!!!

Food was very good, breakfast served up hot and tasty. I wasn't going to leave anything negative but there were a few minor problems. If the place was busy, I could understand, but there were only a few customers dining at the time.The toast was forgotten and came out half way through eating. I made a small change to what I wanted and it was forgotten by the chef... again, there was literally only a couple of tables in at the same time. When we went to pay, it took 15 minutes for them to work out why a flavour reward wouldn't redeem....it was due to the fact there was an offer on the vegetarian breakfast which we knew nothing about as it was advertised or mentioned by the staff. No apology. Oh well.

What a place! Superbly helpful staff, wonderful location, well appointed, airy, spacious and a menu that will please all. Located right on the harbor side wheelchair accessible entrance. I was created on my first 'enquiry' visit by a very helpful lady who explained that they were dog friendly but not in the main restaurant. That left the bar, 'cafe' type area and the upstairs terrace. Returned around 5.00 pm on a Friday and took a table on the terrace overlooking the harbour. We were briefed about condiments, cutlery and of course the free salad bar. Order at the bar with table number on a pay as you go basis. Couldn't have been simpler.Salad bar fresh.and really well stocked with everything you could ask for as well as the numerous sauces and additional sprinkles you didn't know you wanted or even liked. Brilliant. Seated on the terrace (that is not wheelchair accessible) with our drinks and a fresh salad to accompany us, we just sat and appreciated the atmosphere. Other like minded folk were there but it wasn't too busy. Forget whimsically thinking of the Med with its overhyped locations and the Aegean with wannabe yacht captains and crews, this would compete with all of those places and rate very highly indeed.Food delivered by a pleasant and helpful, patient server and the next phase of enjoyment began. Wonderfully stacked burger and succulent chicken with generous ribs and the best gravy I've had anywhere.Toilets clean and functional, staff wonderful and on point and message about service and customer care, location fantastic and well within budget for a tremendously enjoyable experience all round. Totally recommend this location.

They did not want to cater for a large group, so we were spread over 3 tables. This is very poor service to paying customers. Only in the UK! Food was passable at best. My burger fell apart on picking up. Food was lukewarm generally. Medium rear beef was a puddle of blood on the plate. Spent 300+ pounds. Service was okay. The server tried her best. Not impressed!

We turned up at lunchtime today, having rushed through torrential rain. We were soaked through to our legs through our trousers, and cold. We had a great welcome and spent nearly 2 hours eating and drying out. We both had the turkey Christmas Dinner from the festive menu. For a chain pub it was fantastic, as good as a carvery. Hot and tasty and well presented. I asked for extra gravy which came quickly via our friendly waitress. We finished with sundaes. We eat here about 15 times a year, and the salad is always fresh and the food can sometimes be better than other times, but today's turkey dinner with trimmings was top-notch. It cost just over £20 with drinks.

By far the best Harvester we have ever visited - incredible food, including gluten free options, and staff could not be more helpful. Salad bar also the freshest I’ve ever known! Highly recommended!
