Absolutely smashed it! We had Petes son Jon DJ at our wedding at the Haybarn on the weekend and he absolutely nailed it. I gave them about 40 songs and he knew exactly the type of music we wanted. Varied the music to play to the dance floor and different groups. Awesome!

I have been working with Pete for 12 years now, we’ve covered well over 100 events together from Themed Discos, Charity Balls, Christmas Parties, Vintage Tea Parties and Dance A Thons. When my daughter started planning her Wedding she told me that she had booked Pete, as she knew that he would get any party going. We chose Pete’s all day package, with Pete playing the music throughout the ceremony, acting as Master of Ceremonies, and even compèred a ‘Mr and Mrs’ Quiz before the first dance. Pete got a full dance floor of all ages up from the very first song and throughout the entire evening the music appealed to all ages, the whole atmosphere was fantastic. Our guests have been commenting how brilliant he was ( we already knew and our wedding suppliers were carefully selected) Thanks Pete, we know you enjoyed the day too and my 20 year old also loved the evening as the many dance clips show. He really enjoys discussing his latest music choices with you too. Thank you so much, I know that a lot of effort went in to the daytime too, although I’m sure you had never been to such a lively ceremony which so much laughter throughout, Alishia didn’t waste her Theatre and Drama Skills that day for sure.

Pete you made our wedding reception rock. You filled the dance floor till the early hours and five years later everyone still talks and raves about the party that you led. I hired Pete for my combined 60th and Retirement Party this weekend.Pete is an amazing DJ which I would highly recommend 100% and with no hesitation.Pete Stead is totally professional, friendly, and with any doubt certainly knows his stuff.All guests commented during the evening on how good Pete was and further comments have been posted to me today via texting and messenger. Pete is the ultimate professional DJ, I have used him 3 times for personal parties and have attended countless events where he is playing most recently was a wedding where Pete was master of ceremonies and he was in charge of the music for the whole day and it was fantastic. If you want a professional DJ who knows his craft inside out then look no further. I would highly recommend Pete for all your events without hesitation.

100% recommend Pete Stead as wedding reception DJ! The online platform for creating a playlist and making requests was brilliant. Pete then used the theme of our requests as a basis for filling in gaps and all of his selections were perfect and fit in with what we were looking for. Just wanted to say a Huge Thank you to Pete for entertaining us all on Saturday Night!The music never stopped and People were dancing all night long. Thank you for playing anything that was asked for! Everyone had so much fun! Thank you again (even if it was delayed by 12 months lol)

We hired Pete for our wedding which was cancelled due to Covid. We had paid him a deposit so I tried to contact him on several occasions to work something out and he did not respond to any of my emails. I understand the entertainment industry was suffering however we were out of pocket too, I would have been happy to come to some agreement. Very unprofessional and I do not recommend doing business with him.

Have probably been to around 20+ events where Pete had been the DJ so knew I would be in good hands. Hired Pete for my wedding and had him there from the ceremony at 2pm right until the very end of the night after midnight. Pete also did all of the announcements throughout the day and also did a game of Mr & Mrs for us ( he supplied the questions) which we thoroughly enjoyed as did the guests. Dance floor was completely packed the entire night and everyones favourite songs were played. Had sooo many comments since the wedding about how good he was. If anyone is in doubt of who to book go with Pete!!!
