I had a stainless steel exhaust system made for my car by this company in September 2003. Recently the weld holding a hanger to the rear silencer box failed. Solving this was not an issue as the company went out of their way to honour the warranty. Not only was the weld re-done, but further reinforcement was made. Placing this review as a professionally qualified mechanical engineer (CEng and FIMechE), if you are considering a stainless steel exhaust system, then I recommend Southampton Tyre & Wheel Centre most highly. Emailed for a remap quote to include EGR delete / problematic MIL light after EGR replacement. Stuart said to bring it down, no need to book (maybe not usual but very accommodating). Not a petrol head so went for an economy map. Took just over an hr whilst I went for a coffee. Great service, nice chaps, my VW 170 CR went from 53mpg Pre map to 66 mpg Post map on a mostly motorway run. Would recommend. Wish I had it done years ago. Thanks lads.

I was about to scrap my 2007 Toyota t180 diesel estate. Clouds of stinky smoke randomly being emitted by a faulty DPF. A very common problem with this car. Took it to Stuart to perform some magic and a remap, and WOW! Completely transformed I love my Toyota again. Thoroughly recommended, great value. Guy

Had stainless exhaust fitted from manifold to tailpipe on Toyota hilux surf. Said I didn't want it sounding to loud, and wanted it to stick out behind back wheel arch. all I can say is nice job thank you sounds great and looks great.would defo reccomend

Really great team working here now. Technicians are polite, friendly, non-judgemental, and highly skilled.Brought in a semi-poor-quality custom backbox job (I'd had done elsewhere) for repair, and they didn't make me feel foolish about it in any way. Simply looked at what needed doing to correct it - and subsequently 'owned it' in 20 minutes flat! Result was substantially better than when I had it done initially.Overall, excellent experience here. Decent people, superb workmanship, and fair pricing. Will wait the extra time, and get booked in here next time I require such services again.Thanks for your efforts guys..and for fitting the job in at such short notice. Very much appreciated. I have personally used SC Performance many times and I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. The guys do an amazing professional job from start to finish ensuring you're happy every step of the way. I recently got a full cat back exhaust for my Honda S2000 and I am blown away by the service and product , couldn't recommend enough.

Bought a part worn tyre from here that had a dodgy repair (not carried out on the premises). When the tyre failed after a week of use they fully refunded the previous amount paid from the cost of a new tyre, even though I had misplaced my receipt and had no proof of purchase. Superb customer service and good value.

Stuart and Tom provided an excellent service throughout. I replaced my worn alloys with a set of Zito alloys and they look amazing. The price was great and would highly recommend STW to future customers.
