Such a lovely salon that I had no idea did appointments for ladies. My friend recommended Lois to me and I am so glad she did. Lois did such an amazing job on my hair. She took the time to create the perfect balayage in the exact colour I asked for and she cut and styled it beautifully. Lois is super friendly too, and made my time in the salon very comfortable. It’s so daunting going to a new stylist because having your hair done is a big thing. It’s what everyone notices. I much preferred my experience here than my last salon and I definitely will be coming to Lois now for all my future appointments. I’ve had so many compliments so I’ll be recommending all my friends!

Lewis cuts our little boy's hair (he's nearly 2) and he's great with him. He's so patient and tries all sorts to make him happy. We never feel rushed and he's great at working round him (he sits on Dad's lap, then stands in the chair, then sits in the car etc). Cannot recommend him enough :)

Went to BossCut for the first time for with my children. The staff and atmosphere is very friendly. We had a great time in the room they have kitted out for younger children. Tom was fantastic with my boy and he is very happy with his new hair style. It’s was my girls first hair cut a Lois really put her at ease. We will definitely be coming back .

Wash cut and blow dry with Lois and found that she really listened to understand the detail of how I wanted my hair styled and checked in along the way that I was happy with what was being done. I am very particular in how I like my hair styled and this was not a problem with Lois. So much so I have now been back for my second cut with Lois and will be back again. Thank you Lois!

Was looking for a decent warm and friendly barbers after my last one retired. This is a vibrant hairdressing salon in Portishead that has female hairdressing; kids and gents. I’d heard nothing but good things about BossCuts from friends and colleagues and wasn’t disappointed. Caroline was really friendly and welcoming - coffee on arrival etc and great chat. The cut was high quality, nice laid back vibeand I intend to return would recommend. I understand theydo a lot of work supporting male mental health which I think is really positive, really genuine people.

Absolutely amazing place. Caroline is incredible with my 18 month son. He sits so calmly with her and she makes him feel completely at ease. Such a lovely salon in general. Would 100% recommend.

Just moved to the Portishead area so had to find a new barber. Have been lucky enough to only ever have 3 barbers my whole life so consistency and good service is key. Initially I wasn't a aware of 'Bosscut' and had called into other places with no availability, but I think that was a positive now as how they handled me as a customer didn't inspire confidence. However then found 'Bosscut online and was glad did! Online booking was easy and was within 30 minutes so not a long wait. Welcoming was great as soon as came in and a very comfortable waiting area.
