An absolute hidden gem!We had a wonderful stay in Kingfisher and would highly recommend. The hut was clean and very well equipped and surroundings so peaceful and tranquil. The hot tub and fire pit are lovely added extras and finished our break off beautifully after being out walking the majority of the day.We look forward to coming back and exploring more of the surrounding areas. Absolutely stunning and beautiful place....Simply one of the best places we have ever stayed at!

We stayed as guest of friends in the Boathouse on a return 7 day visit and found it, again, most relaxing. A couple of minor issues which the owners could address would make it a 6star. One is the issue is unreliable internet which in these days is not just a luxury but essential, especially for fishing widows (suggest Starlink with P.o.P to huts) and secondly the most uncomfortable covers that are twice the size of the actual duvets. Making for nights of sheet entrapment? However we will be back for a third trip but please see if you can sort out these niggles for 2023.

Accommodation was great and the fishing was great caught lots of carp

We just spent a long weekend at wispy meadows in the golden olf hut. This place is absolutely stunning, the accommodation is brilliantly designed and the relaxing environment around the lake is superb. Fishing is literally on your doorstep with good size fish coming out the lake . We will definitely be returning.

Wife and I came here at the end of our UK-tour-honeymoon.Place is utterly beautiful, secluded and a grand place to relax and recharge.Stayed three nights and really enjoyed ourselves.Town of Watton is very close with a big Tesco so no need to worry about food etc.4 stars only because the wifi is very sketchy and didn’t have a solid signal the time we were there.Perfect place for fishing and a golf course next door.Currently building a new lake and the Wife and I will be coming back some point in the future.

We absolutely love it here. Just back from our second trip in 12 months and looking to book again for September.So relaxing and every single detail has been thought of. You have everything you need. Great walks and pubs nearby too.I would recommend coming here with very few plans and just enjoying the time there relaxing.Photos are from the Kingfisher

Great weekend away here in Blue Marlin. Amazing first impression with the lights on around everything and the lake. Absolutely stunning.Inside was phenomenal and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.Hot tub was amazing with the best views you could ever ask for. The inside was immaculate and beautifully laid out. Quiet and peaceful.Downside was the additional cost for gas that lasts 3-5 hours and no charcoal etc for the BBQ supplied, along with minimal kindling and only 2 firelighters for the fire inside. Had to buy more kindling and firelighters.Would have been absolutely perfect if either the gas was free or charcoal was given for the BBQ instead of it being an additional cost to us from the shops.For the price being paid these would be a great addition to it. You pay a high price for quality and you get it, but gas and/or charcoal etc for the BBQ would have made it 5 stars.Appreciate the additional cost of things now, but for premium prices you wild expect something like these, even if one free canister of gas and then having to pay after.Still, would happily recommend going here 100%; tranquility and beautiful scenery.Just be prepared to add more on for gas/BBQ bits.

If you are looking for a romantic break from the noise and worries of day to day life, LOOK NO FURTHER than Wispy meadows. Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of days for his birthday in the Blue Marlin Shepherds Hut and we could not fault a single second of it. The river view took my breath away, and the hot tub is so perfectly placed that no one can see you, but you can still enjoy the view. In the evening, the fairy lights outside are beautiful, and watching the sun set with a BBQ lit and feeding the swans and ducks is one of the most peaceful experiences of my life. Every detail is thought of. They even put up birthday decorations that i had sent them, which i appreciate would have been extra work!!!We have made memories here that we will cherish. I'm so glad I found this place, and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Stayed for my birthday last year in the golden orfe. Myself & my partner both enjoy fishing but I don't cope well with the cold so this was perfect.My partner fished in the day and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evening. A great balance and we had everything we needed.
