We bring our pack here for a good run off lead which Inuit dogs need to keep them healthy. Great service by great people who know their stuff!

Terrible place to leave your dog...After reading the detailed write up of this nice sounding doggy paradise,we took our year old pooch to stay for a week. In the kennels info it said all food provided for your pet,unless you prefer to bring your own...it isn't so we had to make the trip into town to buy some. They also must have been struggling for money as they demanded full payment up front and said it was the policy of the business, so imagine my surprise upon picking our dog up to hear them arranging payment with some other customers when they picked up their dog.The place is dirty and run down with dark cramped pens that were soaked in urine and faeces. We took in more than a weeks supply of meat and biscuits,and after picking her up after she'd been there four days they gave us back half a bag of food only. our dog returned home smelling horrible and with fleas. Please think twice before leaving your dog here.

Really feel for these guys with all the fake 'grudge' reviews as they are possibly the most caring animal lovers I've met! My dogs came home happy as larry when they stayed here. We even got little update videos of the fun they were having whilst we were away! Huge lit safe walled grassed area for play and clean refurbished kennels. Can't recommend enough. See for yourself why they have plenty of lovely reviews.

My dog Milo goes to doggy daycare here 2 days a week. It is spotlessly clean. He has regular walks and the staff are helpful and knowledgable. My only wish is that I could contact them a bit more easily if I have to alter bookings. I leave messages and am sometimes unsure if they have been received. However this is a minor thing compared with Milo's care and welfare.

Great service looked after my dog at the last minute for 3 weeks Bella came home very happy they kept me updated all the time I was away thank you to all the safe I will be using you in the future

Running out of choices we had no opition but to place my dog in this boarding kennels. The website includes all the info needed to satisfy my dogs taste,s really thought she be in good hands as it was last choice left. Anyhow when I had arrived somebody must of been having bad day. They was incredibly rude when meeting the gentleman. I felt they was offish. The lady needed a deposit excess of £200 for food ect. Which is a hefty price, but I explained the situation that I was entending to go on holiday and this place was last resort. I think they taken me for a game of blind mans wallet. With the circumstances I was in. Anyhow when I returned to pick my girl up, I was later to be told, she had got out her pen and had fight with one of the other boarding dogs. I was so puzzled how they have both got into a pen together, but down to lack of professionalism and idelness walking a group of dogs that have never met are totally going to get along just fine Sarcasim" my dog returned home with bites and fleas. Her ear chewd half off. It has scard my trust in ever leaving my girl ever alone with strangers ever again. I would not ever reccomend anyone using this boarding kennels service. Unless you want to experience my horrible experience i did with tickhill boarding kennels. The kennels is dirty. The people are terrible-customer service maners don't cost anything. Please rethink your options before leaving your poochs here. Iv also reported them to the comity. They are very aggressive."

Wow they are rude!We wanted to meet with friends and their dog but our usual spot was fully booked. Despite the dog field being £16 more per hour we knew we wouldn't have another chance I'm a while to meet. Getting there we were greeted by a member of the team bad mouthing and disrespecting a customer that was already there. Apparently the customer had some issues the week before with double bookings so was moved to our spot that we had already booked and paid for causing another double booking. Communication at its best from the owners but why be so vocally disrespectful to and about a customer. Then as we were leaving the man started shouting all sorts of abuse at us to leave quicker. Apparently we had taken to long saying our goodbyes and he had other things to do. Ignoring the fact we were 30 mins behind due to their double booking. We were very kindly told a number of times we were getting locked in, we had taken the p***"

If you click the profiles who’ve made negative reviews below or try Facebook searching them every single account is fake? Which leads me to believe one person has something against Tickhill Kennels and has made multiple bad reviews in order to lower their rating. Shocking! So glad I noticed the bad grammar and ridiculous spelling and ignored these reviews before visiting.I would tell anyone reading these reviews to totally ignore those reviews, I’ve visited the kennels on 3 occasions once for grooming. Each time my dog has been exceptionally happy and looks unreal. She’s a really tricky dog to groom as she’s a Pomeranian but Lisa has done a star job.
