My husband had recently injured his back and had issues sitting, so I tried to find a solution to provide comfort. When I was looking for a cushion, I found all sorts and they promised so many things. It took some time to filter through as I was on Amazon and looked through reviews for coccyx or tailbone pain. There were many products to filter through, but there was only a number of them that stood out. I saw the Smith Hillman coccyx memory foam cushion reviews and there were a number of who mentioned about finding comfort in this and even a physio and someone's doctor had recommended it. I went to the company's website and saw that they were specialising in back products vs. a lot of the other companies focus on so many other products.At the end of a few hours of research, I decided to buy through the company website as it ended to be a bit less than Amazon even. But mainly it was the reviews, the subtle design contours and the focus of the website that ultimately sold it to me.I wasn't quite sure how long it would take for delivery as buying through the website meant that standard delivery was included with the price at the time of this review. I didn't have a choice to expedite it so I contacted them after I placed the order just to check how long it might take. If there was one improvement to make on the website, it would be helpful to put the processing and delivery estimated time on the website.When we got the seat cushion, I was waiting with trepidation to see how my husband would react to it or if at all when he sat on it. Without a word, he slowly sat down on it and I could almost instantly see that his whole back straightened. He was in tears of gratefulness just because he could sit again.The feel is firm but not an uncomfortable one. I tried it myself and I couldn't believe that feeling of having my back straightened by itself. I got the one with the grey mesh cover and found the zipper and stitching of high quality. It also comes with a travel back so you can easily fold it in half to carry it with you.Customer support was really top class and personal. It reminded me of the good old days when people actually cared about their customers. Thank you.

Smith Hillman coccyx memory foam2 years ago I injured my coccyx sitting on hard surfaces I have spent hundreds of pounds on orthopaedic cushions, some with a hole in the middle and some with the coccyx area cut out all the cushions were memory foam and over £25 so not cheap, sadly non of them worked for me, I couldn’t sit on any of them for more 2 hours at a time & my job consists of sitting for more 4 hours at a time.If you want to save money & heal from your coccyx injury than there is only one coccyx memory foam you need to buy, Smith Hillman coccyx Orthopaedic memory foam cushion, I own 4 of these cushions one for work, one for my car & one for my home plus a spare one.Thankfully I can now sit without the aide of my Smith Hillman coccyx Orthopaedic memory foam cushion, they are that good 7 months on and I’m on the road to recovery from my coccyx injury.Thanks you Smith Hillman.
