Testwood Paddling Pool

Nothing like it used to be. 45 years of pleasure ruined and now too unsafe with hard concrete edges and no accessories for the kid's.Excellent staff and excellent service to keeping the pool monitor ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Firstly this is not a Paddling pool more of a sloped water feature but after that there are two problems. One its only open in the holidays and two there has to be supervisor for safety. On the whole its not in use for long periods of the year. The other down side is when it gets busy there is not enough space.

Good place to walk the dog. Paddling pool is now more of a splash pool, but somewhere to take (small) children during the summer.

Great little place. Lots to do. Can easily spend hours here

Was supposed to be open and hasnt been filled for ages.. waste of space for a bigger better park when things like this arent used. I recommend totton flyover water park at least that works and ia great park next to it with alot more to do.

The pool is now open daytime until the beginning of September (2023), subject to maintenance.There is a toilet in the brick built block near the pool, about half way up on the road side.There's a small play park and tennis court adjacent to the site and you have the whole of Testwood Rec to run around on or play football.For refreshments there's co-op about five minutes walk up the A36 heading out towards Salisbury and also a chip shop. Occasionally an ice cream van visits too.Both Bluestar 12 and Salisbury Red X7/X7R buses stop near the site. Parking is limited but there's a free for five hour car park in the town centre which is a ten minute walk away.Remember the site is unsupervised so please look after your children and remember to take your rubbish home or use the bins provided.There are two other water play facilities in Totton, one down in Eling Rec and another at Hanger Farm. These will be open in time for the summer holidays.You can check the status of all the facilities on the council website.Enjoy!

Clean pool set it a nice grassed area next to a play park and a large piece of ground to run around in, would be perfect if they had toilets.

Great for children and adults, with picnic tables. Trouble is only open in the summer.
