I have had multiple repairs done at this place in the past and I am very happy with the pricing and services that Darrel and his team have done. People who post negative reviews regarding pricing need to ask themselves this. If you want a repair doing why not get in to your heads this, “Quality over Quantity”. Yes you may argue it maybe expensive, well that is the reason why we have to budget in life and save money for a rainy day. Buying something or having something done very cheap doesn’t mean it’s always gonna be better in the long run. Also if you don’t know what you are doing then LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS!!!!!!

A shrewd business. Used them a few times and they get the job done but very expensive. Felt over charged this occasion, - Charged £30 for advice and to download a free app on my apple mac to access a USB memory stick. Service took them 5 minutes. If money is no objection they provide a great service just be wary

Messed my daughter about for 2 weeks not calling back when they said they would. Said they'd fixed and when we picked up laptop wouldn't switch on. Then charged her £100 to get her stuff off it. Then laughed at her when she said what new laptop she'd bought.Rude, cowardly, rip-off merchants.

Went in to purchase an urgent cable for my GoPro.Staff were absent minded and uninterested. Upon finding the right cable, I was happy to pay the extortionate price as it was required immediately. I was not so subtly laughed at by the staff, with the manager requesting his colleague book him a doctors appointment as he must be ill (that I was prepared to pay the price for this cable).Not acceptable - would not recommend, these guys obviously take pleasure from giving terrible customer service and ripping people off.

Had my Acer Aspire fixed here twice - once for a hardware fault and once for a performance upgrade. They do a fantastic job at an affordable price. I would highly recommend this business.

This computer repair service in Macclesfield grossly over charged me for replacing my desk top hard drive with an internal SSD. The average charge by a technician for the work they carried out is £130 (according to 'Which' and various examples online). They charged me £246 and misled me in relation to the VAT by quoting a price of £205 and not mentioning it didn't include an extra £41 VAT. They should have been transparent and quoted £205 + VAT. They replaced my 1 TB hard drive with a 240 GB SSD which costs £20 on Amazon. They told me the hard drive cost £42. This is about the cost of a 1 TB hard drive on Amazon. My advice is to shop about for a fair price and use an ethical repair service instead.

Normally I fix my laptops myself, but this time I thought I'd save time and do the sensible thing, since I am untrained, by going to a shop. Long story short, I will never go to a computer repair shop again unless desperate. I had two issues, and they didn't even bother looking at the second one (which was written down in their notes so no forgetting); didn't even bother turning the device on or even reattaching the screen they were testing. Didn't seem aware of the precise issue being the digitizer, which I'd made clear, just that the screen was broken". Then charged me £24; at least it wasn't more. Not sure when I was last so disappointed in leaving a shop!Edit: it was not from eBay
