My experience as a first-time buyer for a used Ford Fiesta ST Line 2019 with 16k miles was initially great. However, issues started arising just 8 days after purchase, including an airbag light on the dashboard. The garage diagnosed a damaged electrical loom for the airbags, which they claimed was a common issue. It was fixed under warranty.I also noticed a mold smell when using the heating and experienced problems with the infotainment system. I mentioned the mold smell to the salesperson, but they didn't comment on it. Regrettably, I didn't address the issue at the time.In October, heavy rain caused the windscreen to fog up on the inside, which I initially thought was normal. Later, I discovered water on the dashboard and realized there was a leak. I took the car to the garage on November 9, 2022, only to find out that the water leak from the windscreen had damaged two electrical looms, and repairs would cost £2.5k. I argued that such a short period of rainy weather couldn't have caused such extensive damage.After speaking with multiple personnel, Daniel offered assistance through Ford's partner program, and it was confirmed that the repair would be covered. However, communication became difficult, and I discovered a makeshift plastic bag cover" that failed to prevent water entry and resulted in mold growth.I filed a complaint with the finance company on February 13 and requested a proper cover from Ford. Poorly advised when buying a new car about car value and dealer fitted options, resulting in car purchase incurring higher road fund charges. Would not recommend this Garage!According to feedback from Garage this was passed to the sales manager a month ago. Funnily enough no feedback to me what so ever. These guys simply have no idea about customer service. There are plenty of good Ford Garages out there - recommend use some else!

I visited Group 1 Ford Farnborough in December 2023 about 1 hour after making an appointment to view a used car. The person who answered the phone in Used Car Sales wasn't available at the time I could make, so arranged that I meet Chris Seal.I arrived at the garage and met Chris who was ready straight away, but relaxed and I explained that I just wanted to examine the car initially. When I was happy I said that I would like a test drive, but as it wasn't booked in I wasn't sure if this would be possible at the time. Chris was very flexible and organised for us to take the car out straight away and we got on very well and he helped to make me feel relaxed as it's always a little strange going out for a drive in a car you don't own with someone you don't know!I wanted some time to think, and Chris followed up and answered all the questions I had both on the day of the test drive and the following day. When he didn't know the answer right away, he was very honest, but would follow up quickly to obtain the answers.Whilst I ended up not buying the car simply because I found another one from a different garage that met my needs better, I got on so well with Chris and found him so relaxed and not at all pushy, that I wanted to buy from him!Thanks again Chris for your time and you are a great asset to Group 1 Ford Farnborough!

Needed a couple of bolts for a cambelt change. Not used Group 1 Ford Farnborough since it changed from Think Ford and got in contact using their website chat bot. Chat bot must have then turned into a human as my request was not straight forward. All very easy and pleasant to deal with. From there I was informed that the parts department would email me.Received an email about an hour later - parts in stock.I headed over after work and when I arrived at the car park entrance a friendly member of staff directed me to a suitable place to park my motorbike.On entering the service & parts reception area all the operatives were busy on the phone or with customers but immediately a member of staff from another area came over and offered to assist me.They got someone from the parts department to come out and see me and then collect the parts I needed. Everyone was very friendly and made the whole experience a pleasure.This was a perfect example of how a shopping experience should go and every member of staff that I dealt with, from the initial webchat to the guy in the car park and everyone in-between, should give themselves a pat on the back. You are a credit to the company.Thank you and I will be back again.

Used to get services and MOTs here, always fantastic and recently had to move away from the area. Had to phone to ask some advice on what work was completed on a service back in 2021 and if various items needed doing again this year and the service team were so helpful and informative.

I only visited to buy a part from the parts desk, but it was a very good service, indoors, clean showroom, friendly staff etc. The parts desk and servicing are at the back, so you have to turn left and drive down the side of the garage and go in where it says 'transit'. Other than that slightly confusing entrance, the whole experience was flawless. Good price too, well done, Ford Farnborough!

I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Ford Farnborough’s service department. It all began when I discovered a flat tire on my van in the morning, and to make matters worse, I couldn’t find my locking wheel nut after my last visit to Ford Farnborough.My attempts to seek assistance only added to my frustration. I spent an hour on the phone, bouncing between various departments, with no success in getting the help I desperately needed. Instead, I was told to purchase a new locking wheel nut and wait several days for delivery, which was not a viable option for me as the part had gone missing during my previous visit.In desperation, I was advised to drive on the flat tire for 5 miles to reach the service center, which was a risky proposition. Upon my arrival, I was shocked to find out that the earliest available appointment for a tire change was in two weeks. This was simply unacceptable, and I couldn’t wait that long.I requested assistance from the service department to at least loosen the locking wheel nut so that I could change the wheel myself, but even this was met with resistance. Eventually, they agreed but only for a charge of half an hour’s labor. I had to change the wheel on the workshop car park by myself, which was not safe, and it seemed that no one from Ford was concerned about the potentially dangerous situation.Overall, my experience with Ford Farnborough was a complete letdown, and the way I was treated as a customer was truly disheartening. Safety should always be a top priority, and it was alarming to see it disregarded in this manner. I hope Ford Farnborough takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent others from going through such a frustrating and unsafe experience.
