Like others, I also received a fine for parking at Leeds rink. I arrived at 14.15pm for a Ice skating session. Had no idea that you had to pay for parking, no obvious signs, and no-one there to tell you. At the very least they could put a sign on the door warning drivers to make sure they had paid. Daytime robbery!

I've never felt compelled to write a google review before but in this case I would advise people to stay away from this place as it's a complete scam.We visited for the public skating session last Wednesday; Leeds United had a home game that evening so getting there was a nightmare and we ended up paying about £35 for 45 minutes when we were finally able to enter. The skating itself was quite pleasant but for that price at this time of year you could get three tickets at the Ice Cube in Millennium Square. However the main complaint I have is regarding the parking. It was dark when we got there and frankly I do not recall seeing a single sign in the car park saying anything about parking charges. If they do exist they are not lit and not easily visible, there are no warnings in the building and nothing mentioned by the staff either. It's slightly reassuring to see the large numbers of other reviewers who have said the exact same thingI have now been stung with a £100 PCN notice in the run up to ChristmasSo I wouldn't advise going anywhere near this place. There are other ice rinks in the nearby area which aren't going to end up costing you a small fortune for less than an hour's skating.

AmazingI am so annoyed with myself that have not explored this before.Upside of this is a huge arena and no time limitations for the day as specified.Downside that you have to pay heavily for the assisted supported bear and penguin dummies to support if you are naive to ice skating.Coffee shop is handy and the automatic dispenser machines are equally useful.Online booking is easyReception staff seems friendly and helpful.

Been coming here (weekly) for nearly a year, there have ALWAYS been signs regarding the parking! I don't understand those reviews which say no signs, there are many signs in the car park, on the front door of the building and big signs inside reception area asking if you've paid for parking! You can also park at the park and ride for free! Great rink, yes some booking and staffing issues but love the place.

I’m amazed how quiet it was peak into the summer hols. With the weather bad we thought we would try Planet ice. Only my 3 children were skating. The adults had to pay to watch. The children had to pay for the boot hire. I was fine with all that. We got there. We had to pay for the parking!! My son wasn’t confident skating so we asked for an assistance equipment. We had to pay for that. In my opinion if you want to encourage children to skate and get more visitors then I would recommend to slash the pay pay pay but. I don’t mind paying for necessary things but the little things like parking and assistance equipment is mad. It cost me more to bring them and sit and watch!!!!

Visited to watch a Leeds Knights game. Parking was well organised and costs £3. Inside was bright, clean and also well organised. Food and drink are available at regular prices. Fans from both teams mixed and chatted amiably making it a very pleasant evening for myself and grandchildren even though the Knights lost 5-4.

Located on eland Road next to the Leeds United stadium. The place has ample parking on site. We paid only£1 for the whole time we were there around 2hours, which is good. Can understand reason for charge as it gets really busy during match days. The staff at reception were really helpful. Place is expensive but well worth it. As it is 2 hours and include the skates. There is a nice cafe within the premises where you can relax if you are tired or are with someone. For kids or new skaters you can hire a penguin or polar bear for adult that are skate assistant and can help you initially while you get used to skates. The place was not very busy and was good family fun. Will well recommend as it is not just good fun but great exercise.

Really nice quality ice rink, very very cold inside so bring your coats. There are good toilets available on the ground floor. The food and beverages available are also good quality, a little pricier than usual but I recommend the deluxe hot chocolate. The parking meter outside doesn't work with contactless payment so bring coins!

A nice venue to watch ice hockey in the UK. The raised seating makes it difficult to see the entire pitch during the game and there is a clear blind spot in the section of rink directly below your stand. The other facilities are all good and it is easy to walk around the rink. There is also a good bus route to and from the rink, making it easily accessible.
