**Avoid this dental surgery**Afshan Sham is a disgrace to her profession. She has no communication skills, is unapologetically condescending and outrageously rude. How on earth is she still a fully registered practicing dentist.If you have experienced this disgusting attitude and behaviour from her I implore you all to make a formal complaint against her via the General Dentist Council. She must be struck off.

I do not know why NHS is not closing this clinic down, they do not even have a proper reception who can answer the calls.

We have been attending this surgery since the early 1990s and have valued the excellent services from Dr Shams in recent years. She is always polite, friendly and thorough and provides an excellent service and gives us the time needed. We value this especially as we are longstanding patients. Thank you. I have to leave a positive review for this dentist surgery despite alot of poor reviews I have never had any problems with them, Dr Sham has looked my teeth for 20 years including my children until they all flew the nest. The previous receptionist could be quite blank but she got on with me Dr Sham was always honest and never charge for what wasn't necessary like alot of dentist s and its a little community dentists place not the big ones which have hygienists attached that charge a fortune!

Dr Shams is very patient and makes sure that her patients are pain-free and relaxed.She really takes her time to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.I have been using her services for several years and my daughter likes her too.Thank you.

Great staff .. the doctor was very gentle he sorted out the job very good. The receptionist was polite she book me in and I was called in straight away. Great team

Been coming to this surgery for years they provide a brilliant service. The staff are a great team, they are very patient and gave me as much time as I needed to make decisions, the dentists are very skilled and professional and the nurses are always polite and gentle which makes me feel at ease whenever I attend this surgery.

DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST - find someone else to save your sanity (and your teeth).The owner is very rude and deserves to be struck off. A previous reviewer has said that the reception doesn’t answer your calls (which I agree with).The work is shoddy and then they don’t accept any responsibility to address (my dad was told to go home when he went to get his dentures fixed).I have raised a complaint with the NWL dental commission who are investigating this dental practice. I hope they shut the lm down to stop other people having the same experience.

I've had to deal with this dental practice a few times since the Pandemic has started.The receptionist is a lovely and caring person but what a contrast to the head dentist there Afshana Shems. Mirroring what the rest of the Google reviews on here say basically a very undignified and rude person to be in such a profession were you need care and professionalism. I urge people who are unhappy with this practice to leave NHS reviews on the NHS website so it can mount up against them. Shame on this practice.Advice for all new patients : Be very aware as not only will you have zero patient care but you will probably leave worse off financially and your teeth will be ruined.

Had the worst experience at this dental centre. I booked an appointment because of a really bad toothache. At the consultation they could not help me because they don't do root canals. She claimed that I am not entitled for NHS support and that I have to go through private. Later found out that they lied and that I could have gotten the root canal done through NHS band 2. They also had another angry customer because of something they had done wrong. Didn’t thing about it at that time, but stay away from this place, they are unprofessional and create a lot of problems. And the dentist is really rude.
