We were upgraded as hotel was full,lovely chalet given,staff very friendly and happy to help,breakfast freshly cooked,but this could be because we were not in maim hotel,I suspect if we were would be buffet, however thoroughly enjoyed.

BE WARNEDDon't bother booking here. They called me late on a Friday night, some months after we booked to say they couldn't accommodate us and they wanted us to go to a different hotel across the street. We did not like the other hotel as it didnt look suitible for our children. Nor did it have leisure facilities, apparently we could use the facilities at another hotel. WHAT A MESS!We had booked during the Easter break meaning hotels were being booked up fast so we have had to find an alternative quickly. They knew this, that's probably why they called late on a Friday night to tell us.I think this is a regular tactic from this hotel. Overbook and then cancel on thier guests.Very unrealliable hotel! We Will not waste our time with this company again

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bar area. Unfortunately we weren't as impressed with the room, it was clean and the bed was very comfy, but, there were only 4 hangers on a small rail to hang clothes?? nowhere to put underwear or folded items so had to live out of the suitcase. The aircon was too noisy to have on at night, luckily we could open the window. Also the room doors bang shut so very noisy in the morning.

Very pleasant night. Staff very friendly. I was however a bit upset with being told that the reason most of hotel was closed off was due to private function. Be honest I have no problem with whoever else is using hotel

Full of refugees (high quantity of young/working age males), very intimidating. They loiter and give off a very unnerving vibe. Save your money and go elsewhere. I don't believe it's disclosed that there are refugees in the hotel, when it really should be.

I booked it at short notice, just needed an overnight stay and back to London.When I turned the corner to see the hotel I thought it looked a bit sh1t.But the outside is deceptive.The staff were effective and quick to serve. The building is pretty good on the inside.My room was in the new annex in the back, chalet types. They are bright, modern, airy and clean. The bathroom is large with big fluffy towels.I wasn't expecting a kitchenette with fridge and ironing board and iron.Top find

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and family rooms perfect for a clean and comfortable stay.Gervis Road is ideal for the pier or zig zag path down to the beach. The location is quiet and excellent. Breakfasts were buffet with cooked options. Thank you for a great stay.
