Beautiful place overlooking the broads, service and food was excellent, didn't have room for afters so cannot comment. Fish pie I had was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Our first night out since the pandemic started. We'd never been here before despite only living a few villages away. Booked a table for a family of 3.The restaurant - So bright fresh and airy inside with beautiful views over the broad, every member of staff were wonderful, polite and friendly,n such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were not rushed, every course gave you time in-between to digest and have another drink if desired. There is nothing worse than finishing your starter and 2 minutes later the main cones out...not here! Perfect timing between.The food - Don't eat for 3 days prior, dont be fooled by the photo's advertised! Our starters were a meal in their own right, beautifully cooked and presented. The mains, 3 perfectly cooked fillet steaks served with a baked tomato and mushroom with a light garnish...we expected a bowl of chips on the table as standard, what we didn't expect was a large dish of , seasoned crushed potatoes and fried onions, then the garlic seasoned Broccoli, followed by a dish of cauliflower cheese...we're not talking little side dishes, were talking enough in each dish for a table of 6 ...you will not leave hungry! We did feel bad leaving some, I hate food waste. Desserts? Absolutely! Again, not silly little portions, as previous, enough time to digest the main before dessert.I love good food, I can't rate this place highly enough, we booked again before we left.

Last night my wife and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary by holding a dinner party for 30 of our family and friends at The Filby Bridge Restaurant. It’s hard to express what a fantastic and memorable evening it was. Tony and his staff, some of which are his family went out of their way to make the evening a great success. The food can only be described as delicious, beautifully cooked and wonderfully presented. I unreservedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely venue to celebrate a special event or just for a lovely meal.Thank you to Tony and his team.

The food was very good, only negative was the sherry trifle was a lot stronger than expected but still very enjoyable. Service was polite and nice just at the end I had to get up and request the bill but nothing to be disappointed by. The location is great and the view looking over the lake is amazing.

Popped in on the off chance of getting a table, the front of house staff couldn't be more accommodating. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and what a perfect way to round of the evening, spotlessly clean and comfortable surroundings with amazing views. The food was incredible, so beautifully presented, and flavours were divine, all washed down with a delicious glass of chilled pinot! It's been a long time since we have dined out and enjoyed a meal so much, portion sizes were perfect and very filling, but I still managed to sample a dessert of baked Alaska which was outstanding. Thank you so much, we can not wait to return.

Absolutely fantastic… my parents golden wedding anniversary and nothing could have been any better. View, service, food all excellent. My parents said they will be going back. If you want a really great meal in a great location with slightly cheeky service get down there.

Great lunch time menu with food beautifully prepared. Both the Skate and the Minced beef suet pudding were cooked well and came with a great selection of vegetables. The desert menu was diverse and good value.The staff were attentive and the view across the broad was enchanting

The single best meal we have ever had. The dining area was beautiful and spacious. The service was amazing, the waiting staff had such intricate knowledge of the menu and were quick with all requests . Last but not least the food was incredible. Brilliant portion size and flavours. Steaks cooked perfectly. This was our anniversary meal and will become our new tradition.

Excellent restaurant. My parents have been visiting this restaurant for years and now I can see why. The food is excellent, the setting the restaurant sits in on one of the Norfolk Broads is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The prices are higher than some places but then you'd expect to pay a bit more for food of this quality. Will definitely visit the restaurant when in this part of the world again.

We have been visiting Filby Bridge Restaurant for many years and the welcome and service you receive is excellent. Just been again at the start of the month to have lunch with friends holidaying in Norfolk. As always we were greeted with warmth as staff are very friendly and attentive ( even had our photo taken by a staff member outside when we were leaving on one occasion, which is now a treasured keepsake. )There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes and when our food arrived it was hot, freshly cooked and delicious.The restaurant is situated overlooking the Broad so with the large windows most tables have a good view of the beautiful expanse of water. An outstanding vista to look out upon whilst enjoying a lovely meal! Even on a dull grey day the view is uplifting.So thank you again Filby bridge, you never disappoint and we will be back again soon.
