I went to this dentist for quite a while and my usual dentist Elspeth parsons was lovely, unfortunately when I got my usual text reminder for my next appointment I was unhappy with all the personal information that they were requesting from me via the online form. This is a sample of some of the actual questions.....have I had brain surgery, am I pregnant, am I likely to get pregnant, do I breastfeed, how much alcohol do I drink (i am a 64 year old male and they demanded an answer to the pregnancy questions as denoted by the asterix) the list of questions went on, anyone would think I was having a major operation not a dental checkup!! All this information was requested under the pretence that they could treat me correctly...utter nonsense firms like this are getting too big for there own good and need curbing, the information you give them is always claimed to be safe ...until there is a data breach , as we have seen this happens all too often !!!.

This establishment is exceptionally tidy and inviting, especially the front desk personnel. They consistently welcome visitors with a warm smile and a willingness to assist. Chevana ensured my most recent visit was exceedingly pleasant, which alleviated my nerves before the scheduled appointment.

Where to start !!! Im 37 and have had the biggest fear of the dentist i have put it off for so long to the point ive had to have teeth removed and a denture ! I have never been to the dentist on my own . I wish i had come to my dentist at mapperly sooner. From the minute i rang in distress the care i have received has been amazing! The receptionist was so kind and caring she explained what i needed to do and booked me an appt with dr aktar same day . On arrival and still absolutely distraught the reception staff continued their calm caring nature then i went in to amreen and drew . I could not of asked for two better people I explained my fear and they both sat through and explained everything that was gonna happen in my appointment drew providing me the tissue to wipe my tears and amreen explaining that if any time i wanted to stop then lift 1 arm. I had several appt 8 all in all over a few weeks and every appointment i went to dr aktar made sure i was comfortable and explained everything to me and kept me calm. Today I managed to go on my own i feel like a complete different person i can not thank you all enough!!!

Mydentist boasts an excellent team of professionals, including dentists, nurses, assistants, and receptionists, all consistently delivering outstanding service. During my recent visit, the receptionist with blonde hair was exceptionally thorough, professional, and efficient, resulting in a speedy appointment turnaround—a perfect fit for my hectic schedule.

I am not the best person when going to the dentist but got to say after going to my dentist at Mapperley for the last 18 months that fear as gone away. Seen 2 really caring dentists Ana and Barry that really puts you at ease and really cares about you and makes you feel very relaxed. Also I have see the hygienist Karen there too, again so caring and makes you feel really relaxed. All staff very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

Among the dentists I've visited, this one stands out as exceptionally welcoming. Chevana truly shines as a member of the receptionist team and reflects positively on mydentist as a company.

I have visited MyDentist Mapperley on several occasions and have always received excellent patient care. The reception staff are always very welcoming; dealing with any questions I have about my treatment in a professional manner. Any dentists I have seen have always provided a good service, providing advice on any after care as required. Hygienist Karen is also exceptional; her calm and caring manner is a credit to MyDentist.I would recommend MyDentist Mapperley.

I have been a patient here for over 30 years , and even when I moved 40 miles away, 8 years ago, I am happy to make the trek twice a year for good reason.Excellent staff front of house and the dental technicians.Helga Martin an exceptional dentist and I have been with her since the leaving of my previous dentist who retired a couple cod decades ago.Continuity of care in any profession is paramount , by seeing the same capable and very professional dentist , Helga it’s a no brainier.It would have been 5 stars ⭐️ but if I have any criticism if one can call it that, it is that I very rarely got seen at the time of the appointment that they have set.I appreciate that on the odd occasion this can happen but it’s been to many times from my personal experience.On two occasions over the years it’s been almost an hour, most time between ten and twenty minutes I think if you are running behind , a timescale of that delay should be mentioned to the patient at the point of entry, so they can decide whether to wait or not .Most people fit their appointments between other things and also they have used the pay for parking at the nearby car parks and this can cause anxiety for those waiting as a £60 fine is not what you want or need.

I had a very pleasant experience visiting this establishment. When entering we was welcomed by the reception staff who was very caring and understanding, as my little one was very apprehensive about having his checkup, I can honestly say she made me feel at ease as well. Everywhere was clean and tidy and we was made to feel comfortable and that nothing was too much of a problem. I have to admit I felt like I was more visiting the Hair Salon than the dentist absolutely fantastic place. Lovely friendly dentist Keep up the good work.
