We experienced Pocock and Shaw twice, buying in Ely 2017, and selling in Ely 2022.When we bought, Magnus at P&S was very helpful in connecting us early to a property. He obviously loves living in Ely and enjoys sharing his knowledge of property in the city. We were thrilled with the property but more so with Magus’ commitment to keeping us in the loop at all stages. Even when transactions became complicated, we always felt like we were in good hands.When we came to sell five years later, we were in no doubt about who we wanted to sell the property. P&S’s price was very competitive and the service was exemplary. We agreed a sale within a few days at a price that exceeded our expectations. Our chain took some time to complete, but Magnus managed expectations throughout.Professional service from start to finish.

We recently bought our dream home through Pocock and Shaw Ely and Greg and his team were amazing! From showing us around multiple times (at weekends and at short notice), to helping with sales progression down the chain, they could not do enough. Pocock and Shaw is a breath of fresh air as there is none of the ‘estate agent speak’. Trustworthy, friendly, honest and open, Greg is a pleasure to deal with. Cannot recommend the whole team enough.

Pocock & Shaw in Ely are great agents. We have recently moved out of our rental managed by them and into our first home. Whilst we were with Pocock, they were amazing! They were pleasant to deal with, fast in responding to our requests and they were also quick with getting any issued that arised sorted. Pocock and Shaw were amazing from start to finish in our recent house sale. Starting with Magnus who was really helpful in advising on how to go about our sale, and then when we lost our buyer near the start of the process, he incredibly managed to find us another one within 12 hours! I want to give a special mention to Elen though, throughout the process some issues arose with the house we were buying and also delays with our buyers solicitors, Elen went above and beyond to make sure the process continued to progress, helping us to resolve issues that really should have been resolved by another Estate agent/solicitor in the chain. Nothing was too much trouble for Elen and her communication was excellent. What should have been extremely stressful really wasn’t too bad at all and this was all down to Elen. After this experience I wouldn’t use anyone else for my house sales in the future. I have previously used other estate agents and never received the level and quality of service we received from Pocock and Shaw.

Pocock and Shaw in Ely have provided the best service for my elderly parent, who bought through P&S 10 years ago, and is now selling through them.They really understand my parent's foibles and have helped immensely with every aspect of the sale - marketing the property, supporting with legal aspects, always with a good sense of humour and focus on the sale.
