KAM Servicing

Had the rear brake pads replaced on our car today. Received an excellent service and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Not the usual garage I use , dropped off here by the AA as a break down on a Saturday (starting motor) whilst my van was at Belper KAM servicing I explained I had a slow leak on a water pipe , it appeared to me a frayed end of pipe ! Which I did explain to them . On collection was advised I’ve had a new water pipe fitted (£50) . And also was told my water pump is leaking onto the Kam belt - quoted that I need a new kam belt & water pump fitting -cost £450 ! . Drove away with a more severe leak than when it went in , 3 weeks after this date I had a holiday booked driving this same van in France.I Already had my van booked in at my usual garage (Not Kam Servicing) for a full service, Whilst at the usual Garage I use I didn’t explain what I had been told to me by KAM regarding the kam belt & pump . I just asked my usual garage to take a look at the leak I have and also double check my water pump for any leaks .When collecting at my usual garage I was advised the water pump is good (No leaks ) . And also they had fixed the leak on the pipe ! Advise Frayed end . New connection fitted ! At no cost ..one week later I did 1400 miles driving around France . No water lost at all ! 4 months later I’ve done another 1000+ miles . Still no water lost . Water pump works good (no leaks )Today I visited Belper Kam servicing and explained how I felt like they had tried to charge me £450 for something that didn’t need repairing or replacing , The reply from the male on reception was he didn’t know what I wanted him to do or say ? And that it wasn’t him who did the work or advised me on repairs & costs needed . Was also advised that the guy who did the work and advising wasn’t there !!!!!

Honest, fair service. Friendly staff willing to help. Kept informed regarding work needed, costs etc and they explained the issues found in a clear and non-condescending way, which makes a refreshing change from some other garages.

Took my car for an MOT & Service this afternoon and as always very pleased with the exceptional service & customer care. We have been using KAM (Belper) for many years and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Excellent service as always. Kam at Belper are very convenient for me.Having said that quality of service is more important than convenience. With Kam I get both.I find them very friendly and easy to deal with and their work is always carried out very professionally. Prices are also very competitive.

I’ve always had great service from KAM’s. I’m contacted by Luke if there is a problem that needs fixing to check that I’m happy for them to carry on. The staff are second to none. Professional, polite, trustworthy. I would not take my car anywhere else. Thanks

Called in yesterday as I thought I had a puncture. Two men in reception doing nothing but didn't have time to look at it, told me to book in next week or phone next day on off chance they could fit me in, no help at all. I ended up going to another local garage and they sorted the problem straight away. Avoid this garage.

Excellent service. Had a timing belt changed here, with a quote nearly half that of Approved" garage. Always call when they say they will and no fuss."
