Arthur’s seat
Was a PITA to find a bathroom and when we got there it was closed, should just gone in the fog. Very foggy when we went up but just near the top we broke through the clouds and it was all well worth it. Went in early May, still a bit chilly so would def recommend a sweater, windbreaker and nice comfy hiking/walking shoes because of all the rough rocks. The path is easier/nicer depending on which side you come from. We went up the south side near holy rood palace and it was long and rocky. Went down the east side but ending up far from the town, it was much smoother, less steep and far more pleasant of the walk. I would still recommend going up even if it’s foggy because the top is breathtaking and well worth it.
