Silver Birch Children's Centre

My girlfriend went to a baby weaning party at silver birch and found it terrible. She said the lady conducting the event was very condescending and made her feel like a bad parent through the things she was saying. She found all the other mums there were very clicky and not friendly at all so she was basically sat on her own. The information provided by the lady running the even was basically all pre-made baby products are terrible and you should not be using them, everything should be made from fresh and frozen. Although in an ideal world this may sound correct not everybody lives in an ideal world and many people simply dont have the time to do everything by the midwifes book" which by the way changes just about every year. Even baby juice which i am sure many people use was described as a big no no. Maybe this is just me and my partner but we are certainly not bad parents and my girlfriend left the place feeling like she was which as a government funded project is disgusting. Safe to say we/ she will not be attending again."
