Came in for a men's Xmas jumper.. very poor from matalan who i feel have just gone down hill lately and it's such a shame. The mens section is tiny in comparison to womens, baby and home. Not a festive jumper in sight, bare in mind we visited in the middle of December!!! And they hadn't sold out, as I asked a team member.

I was in matalan yesterday with my mom and niece the staff were really helpful after my mom had a funny turn and fainted and hit her head i was grateful for all your help you know who you are sorry didnt get names also thanks for keeping shopping for us for my niece to pick up mom is ok bruise on back of head also finally got home after a few hours at telford hospital so thank you to everyone involved karen webb

Telford Matalan is an ok store, however, I do feel the Shrewsbury store is a bit better as it often has more stock and products that cannot be found in the Telford store.All Matalan stores offer good quality products at reasonable prices though. With so many stores and department stores closing (like Debenhams) we all need stores like Matalan, so I am happy and very appreciative with the service they provide.

Pretty good clothing store. Some things improved recently - plenty of self service now and no need for unnecessary loyalty card they used to insist upon. Prices can't compete with the likes of Primark, but store quite well laid out. Staff so few now, probably due to self checkout, but I got what I wanted at a reasonable price.

Lots of clothes but wish they did some larger sizes - there's a lot of big people around and hardly any shops selling Plus Size clothing, it doesn't make any sense

Good sales but changing rooms were so messy…The protective stickers you find in bikinis or underwear stuck all over the benches, hangers and unwanted clothes left on floor in some changing cubicles

Worst, self-service tills in any store I have visted, seems like they have just turned their screens around. Then have the audacity to have four staff members stand behind the tills telling you to carry our thier work, no thank you.

Shoppers paradise where you can spend hours just browsing. Spacious and good layout. Self service at the tills though which is the only downside.

Disappointed that they have gone to self checkout we had to get help from the staff any way to remove security tags price and goods ok unlikely to go back will return to Primark

Matalan is what it is. Decent cheap clothing. For all the family, mom, dad & the children. Wear a few time then send to charity but the clothes will last if you care for them.The shop is a warehouse so you know what you are going to get. Staff limited but of kindly nature, could do with more at tills especially at sale time and ChristmasI don't like having to scan stuff so held up queues (sorry) not technically sound but staff are expensive.
