This store new name is Zamandara FoodThe new owner is very rude person look at customers very strangely. He thinks everyone is thief. He doesn’t give respect to the customers. Highly recommended don’t shop there. Next to him A1 food they are very nice the Phatan

My first n last visit to this place! I've greeted da lady twice thinking she didn't hear me at first but straight told me the amount to pay, before leaving i said to her thanks again twice but she didn't bother to acknowledge even.

Staff could know more about the inventory buy to be fair, they have ALOT of food. Best place for fresh fruit and vegetables in Birmingham. Frozen seafood is eclectic. Spices and sauces and pols of every kind.

Excellent prices and sales all the time

This supermarket is very lucky to even receive one star. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would. The owner Amjad is an exceptionally rude person who refuses to admit when in the wrong. Although all over the supermarket there are signs which state ‘Please ask to speak to a member of staff’ Amjad evidently had a problem when questioned about the state of the stock. His exact words were ‘What sort of daft question is that’ in a very rude and aggressive manner. He had also said he hadn’t asked us to shop there which isn’t how a supermarket works as it is there to provide a service and they should be grateful that people are even shopping there and putting money in his pocket! I am very deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service and would definitely advise them to improve on customer service skills.

Very honest and kind owner prices are same as in racks and on the counter

A big spacious store with a lot of variety of food items etc, but very hard to manoeuvre around comfortably as well as the prices are a bit steep due to the Covid pandemic.The male staff can be very judgemental as who enters the store which is very off-putting to say the least.I think the owner is from Afghanistan. He seems to be very uptight non-stop and he speaks always down you with a serious chip on his shoulder. Ask for a bag and the guy goes mental as well as throwing it at you. Loves to speak in his own language and instructing others to follow you around the store which is NOT acceptable. He is in his mid 40s, tall and moody as hell.Wooden pallets outside the business laid in a dangerously hazardous manner.Customer service is very lacking from the male staff old or young. This NEEDS improving drastically.

Disgraceful place to shop. Went to get dried figs and they set two different prices for the same item. Just because one was delivered to the store at a later date so was considered fresh compared to the other one when they BOTH should have been the same price because they were the same brand same everything. When challenged after paying and realising the error he refused to refund the tramp. Avoid this place and shop somewhere that respects its customers.
